The staff were very helpful and kind. Water pressure in shower was not very good. Hot water in bathroom sink was a trickle. Bed was super comfy. Hot Springs King room does not mean there is a hot springs tub next to your room. Made a mistake with that. Paid $20 extra a night for nothing extra. Could have just booked the king bedroom and call it good.

Very pleased the fresh fruit and berries option with breakfast was a big plus for me, the hot springs are the hottest in the area from the other surrounding ones in ouray. We will definitely be returning.

Great location. Cozy and comfortable and great upgrades. With winter weather, having some type of mat to put wet/dirty shoes would have been nice. Entrance to the room was right by the fridge and needed to either have the door fully open or closed to access the microwave. Therefore, keeping clean feet and clean floors was difficult if needing to access these appliances as just having shoes on coming in the door would easily bring snow or dirt debris in. Some food I had (fresh veggies) were ruined as the fridge was set all the way up (not something that would be intuitive for a guest to make sure is okay, with it not being a freezer). After I turned the fridge down, water leaked onto the floor (I presume from ice building up on the inside? If so, it wasn’t obvious to me). I had a room on the first floor and it was quite noisy- hearing people above. I know this is an expected downfall to a ground level room, but it seemed more noisy than I expected compared to other accommodations. Also, any door above or to the side opening and closing was quite noisy. Also could hear other dogs bark easily but luckily this wasn’t excessive (no dog was disruptive or barking constantly). It was just easy to hear.

room had a heater that wasn't working well, they sort of fixed it but it made a huge noise turning on and off all night. As far as we could determine, the staff did as little work as possible. Door to bathroom was falling off the hinges. They came in and fixed it. None of the staff checked back to if our issues were taken care of to our satisfaction. Staff was polite but they had no interest in going out of their way to assist.

Rooms are clean here, nicely renovated and maintained. Breakfast was limited, as we got there toward the end- no meat left. But the eggs were hot and tasty.
