second stay there this year and again everything was perfect. But you need a car for an extended stay as there is nothing around the area.

I wish I could have stayed more than one night. It was a lovely homestay, it has a lot of places to sit quietly, which I wanted. But they have a pool and critters to watch: peacocks, dogs and cats and all the regular bird life too. The dinner was excellent as was the desert! The ride to the property was nice and the ride early the next day was good.

The hotel is outside the city. It’s small. Almost like a B and B. It has character. The food is excellent. It’s like a little oasis. Comfortable bed and linens. Peacocks, trees, flowering bushes and just what I needed following my 24 hour journey.

The place is very nice and relaxing. Dinner was a bit overpriced. We left very early to catch a morning flight. It would have been nice to have something prepared for a quick early breakfast (even a a cup of coffee with a yoghurt or something) but there was nothing.

I provided my arrival information through Expedia before travel and two people were at the airport to meet me as I exited the terminal! That's a great level of service! The room and common areas were very clean, the property is absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast included a custom prepared omelet! They arranged a tour of Casablanca for me with the gentleman who picked me up at the airport. I found it interesting, informative, and very enjoyable. I highly recommend asking for a tour when you stay here. I am anticipating a return to Morocco for the August 2027 solar eclipse. If I make it, I will absolutely return to Casablanca and stay at Riad Tanjil again!

The Riad Tanjil is a gem of a hotel very near the Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca. The hostess, Claire, was very accommodating, as were her husband and staff. Zarah and Fatima were so hopeful and pleasant, and made dinner a huge success. The property is so nicely done, along with many lovely and friendly animals. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I chose this place as it is 10 minutes from the airport and I had a 6am flight. They were able to transport me at 3:30am which was very helpful and also provided transportation to Hassan2 Mosque and waited for us to take us back. The drive to the Riad worried me as it looked unsafe initially, but once we arrived, we felt safe as nothing was near us and we were completely fenced in. Food was delicious!

This is not really a Riad but, rather, a small rural hotel. The rooms were large, simple and clean. Absolutely fine for a one night stay. The grounds were very well kept with lots of greenery and flowers for the peacocks to enjoy. Dining at an outside table facing the gardens was relaxing and enjoyable. The food was good. Only one choice. Our stay was a chicken tangine with fresh bread, salad and other sides. The peacocks were plentiful and hung out hoping for some bread which we gladly shared with them. Overall, a very pleasnat stay before leaving Morocco.

We enjoyed our stay. Upon our arrival Sara prepared for us an excellent mint tea. The next morning Claire made an early breakfast for me since I’m an early riser. Sara made breakfast for my niece who’s a late riser. Fatima prepared an excellent home cooked Moroccan meals (dinner and lunch). The place is a short distance to the airport, which made it excellent choice. Oh, before I forget, I just loved the live peacock family parade. I also loved the rosemary bushes around the property. I recommend Riad Tanjil.

Excellent accueil.
