What can I say , it’s an old house with a lot of charisma and I like that very much . The employees are very friendly and helpful the food in the restaurant was just great . So if you do like old hotels with little blisters you are just right there .

Historical place. Time travel effect to a bygone eta. Great pictures of past glamor. Wonderful dining hall and gardens. Rooms and corridors show their age. Huge potential to make the hotel glorious again.

The great hotel of Outshdoorn

Beautiful old hotel in Outshoorn. Decorated with elements which remeber the history of the city. Very pleasant staff. Delicious breakfast. I love the great living room.

Es ist ein etwas älteres Hotel, aber mit einer sehr schönen Lage in der Stadt, wenn man das möchte - sehr komfortable Betten und einer großzügigen Dusche. Für mich persönlich hat einfach das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gepasst!

Schönes historisches Hotel

Das historische Hotel hat Charakter. Das Zimmer zur Hauptstrasse war leider sehr laut, da die ganze Nacht Fahrzeuge mit röhtrnden Motoren wie gestört herumgefahren sind. Das Restaurant hat einen schönen Balkon, aber das Essen war etwas enttäuschend. Das Personal beim Frühstück war nicht sehr motiviert, ausser die Dame welche die Eier zubereitete, sowie der Mann am Toaster.

Bon hôtel, excellent personnel, mais à améliorer

L’hôtel est bien placé, le personnel impecable, le petit déjeuner buffet est bien mais la organisation de tables et les assiettes pour se servir il faut travailler La signale de wifi dans ma chambre étais bien mais la vitesse est lente Le problème de loadshedding dans le pays es compliqué, mais l’hôtel n’a pas de générateur

The Queens is a nice place to stay sadly the bar wasn’t open or the restaurant wasn’t open either maybe a little overpriced for what you get but would visit again

High expectations shattered

Very tired and urgently in need of renovations. Reception staff (a single male) was dressed in a tracksuit (15:00 on a Friday afternoon) and a bit clueless. Breakfast very boring and unimaginative - in contrast to what Cafè Brûlée has on offer. I was so looking forward to stay at this iconic landmark but was unfortunately totally disappointed.

Stunning old-school service, great place

Queens hotel reminded me what it’s like to visit a traditional hotel in a world full of anonymous AirBnB visits. Mario opened the door as I approached and greeted me by my name and then offered to help us with our bags. That little gesture put a big smile on my face after a several hours on the road. We used a family room and it was comfy and clean. Mario helped me with neighborhood tips for my jog and was working when I called it a day late at night and greeted me in the morning again (does he sleep!?). The family enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was pretty good in the adjacent coffee shop. I will come here again. I only review places that deserve the merit - this one does.

Geweldig hotel. Hele fijne nette kamer!! Heerlijk gedineerd in het restaurant van het hotel. Heel erg vriendelijk personeel. Mooie binnenplaats. Lekker ontbijt. Oudtshoorn is een leuke plaats met mooi museum vlakbij hotel.
