The family room was lovely; the two single beds for the teenage girls were separate from the parents joined by the bathroom. The bathroom was beautiful, spacious, the rooms beautifully and simply decorated; good food, friendly service. The village of Oudewater is idyllic and close enough to reach the nearest city Utrecht by car. Definitely a spot we’d like to visit again!

Authentic place in a quiet village - mostly good

On arrival we were greeted with friendliness, professionalism and helpfulness. Our rooms were beautiful with rustic charm and quaint decor. The beds were super comfy, cosy and warm. We had a drink in the charming lounge bar - lovely decor here too - really beautiful. We easily found a parking spot for the car just a short walk from the hotel. The only bug bear we had was the cold shower. Between the 4 of us in 2 separate rooms, one had a good hot shower, one had a warmish shower and two had cold showers. This is a big fail for the hotel. It should never happen.

Not a fan of the hotel or the restaurant

We chose this hotel because of the wonderful reviews and that it has a restaurant. At check-in we’re told they had to recharge our card because even though we prepaid on the app, they said we had to re-validate the card in their system. I’ve never had that happen before when using Hotels.com app. The room itself was very nice. The bathroom has low privacy. There’s no blinds or curtains and only half of the window is covered by glass shading. The top portion of the windows are all clear and uncovered. Unfortunately, our room was directly above the kitchen, there was banging of cupboards, pots and pan noises and talking. It sounded like the kitchen was in the room with us. We waited an hour and a half for our food. I was so tired and went up to the room. My Husband continued to wait in the restaurant and got the order to go. My husband and our kid’s burgers were raw. Unfortunately my kid being a kid ate over half of it before we knew there was a problem. My husband took a few bites and realize there was a problem. He went back downstairs with the food and they said that everything should be fine and nobody should get sick because it was real cows meat. What does that mean? We received a call and an invoice 24 hours later stating the waitress charged our card wrong for dinner and we needed to repay. I would not recommend this hotel or restaurant. Not a great experience.

The town is very nice, a good atmosphere. The hotel is nice, the restaurant is a little expensive. Our room was good only problem was the air-conditioner wasn't working. I asked the staff about it and they got it going again.

Great weekend stay

Oudewater is an incredibly beautiful small town with a number of pretty bars/restaurants and perfect for a short break. The hotel is exceptional with very comfortable rooms, excellent food and a bar retardant with a great atmosphere

Mukava yöpyminen

Huone oli erittäin siisti ja kauniisti sisustettu. Perhehuone koostui kahdesta erillisestä huoneesta, jotka kylpyhuone yhdisti toisiinsa. Toinen huoneista oli hyvin tilava, eikä toinenkaan mikään pieni ollut. Myös kylpyhuone oli siisti ja uusi, ainoa miinus oli jääkylmä lattia kylpyhuoneessa. Aamupala oli laadukas ja miljöö kaunis.

Este lugar es una gema escondida! Impecable limpieza, el personal en front desk de lo mejor!! Fijn en gezellig hotel in prachtig Oudewater

Fijn hotel in het mooie centrum van Oudewater. Gemakkelijk en gratis parkeren in de directe omgeving. Gezond en uitgebreid ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel en goed en snel restaurant voor een lekkere kop soep en een kip saté. Zeker aanrader om nog eens terug te komen. Badkamer is in sommige kamers nog niet vernieuwd, die zijn wel schoon en zuiver op wat haren na maar mag wel een opfrisbeurt krijgen en de boxspring is aan het afbladderen aan de hoeken (kamer 135), verder alles prima en kom hier zeker terug.

Das Hotel ist schön gelegen, optimal um von dort aus den Keukenhof und Amsterdam zu besuchen. Das Personal ist außerordentlich höflich , hilfsbereit und immer ansprechbar. Die Zimmer sind sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Die Speisen- und Getränkeauswahl im Restaurant ist super. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
