Ottawa Alt Hotel is a good Hotel. It is clean, staff are friendly and attentive. Limited options for dining at the Hotel and it is designed for travellers on the go. Close to the OC Transpo train station which is nice. No amenities like a Pool or Hot tub/Gym. The area is not great if you bring a car. Limited and very expensive parking within a block to two blocks. It would

Great location for eashy walking to all of downtown Ottawa's sites. Lacking of on-site parking initially seemed like a drawback but the underground lot nearby was safe and secure and we didn't need our vehicle for the time we were there.

The hotel itself is great—excellent location, clean and spacious rooms, comfy beds, no complaints there. The only real issue was anything parking-related. I couldn’t even stop out front to unload luggage without parking enforcement getting involved. When we asked about parking, the front desk gave a vague answer that led us to a lot charging $47 a night. I'm not even that frustrated about the cost. It's more the lack of ownership and clear direction from the front desk over this clear deficiency that was disappointing. It’s a small thing, but it really affects the arrival and departure experience.

Parking was not at the hotel site, but the property did recommend nearby parking, a reasonable walking distance in the nice weather. Hotel staff were very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The room did not have a fridge nor a safe, which would have been convenient. The room was modern and very clean, with a very comfortable bed.

Although we only stayed for one night, our stay was very comfortable. The room was clean with great interiors. The bed was big and comfortable. The towels were very soft and the bathroom was very spacious. The staff were very welcoming too. We’ll definitely stay for longer next time we visit Ottawa.

Schöne Lobby, schönes Zimmer mit guter Ausstattung. Zimmer-Blick leider auf Betonwand zwischen den Gebäuden. Keine direkte Parkmöglichkeiten oder Valet. Ankunftszone für Auto Katastrophe. Die Lila Linie hätte eigentlich Platz für 3 Autos. Wurde aber von Reinigungsfirmen mit zwei Pick-Ups den ganzen Tag blockiert. Bei Ankunft konnte man gerade noch auf dem Gehweg halten, hat diesen aber blockiert und bei der Abreise mussten wir illegal auf der Straße halten und eine Fahrspur blockieren. Auf Nachfrage bzw. Hinweis an der Rezeption wollte man nicht helfen, sagte nur dass das halt Firmen sind die hier gerade arbeiten und wenn wir auf der Straße stehen bleiben, dann bekommen wir auf jeden Fall einen Strafzettel. Man war nicht motiviert eine Lösung zu schaffen. Warum macht man sowas mit seinen Kunden?
