"The lady at the front desk was so nice. She checked us in, and gave us the key cards. We parked in front of the room and got our luggage out. When we tried the key cards, they didn’t work. We were still trying, when a car drove up, and the girl inside the car said that we were trying to get into her room. I looked at the number on our little envelope and the number matched the room. I went back to the lobby, and told the clerk what happened. I was so embarrassed! We looked like we were trying to break into those people’s room. ‼️I have no idea what room those key cards opened. The clerk gave us another room and key cards that did worked. The new room was nice. Breakfast was good. But I hope no other customers end up being embarrassed like we were."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The check in and checkout experiences were smooth. The room was clean and well stocked. The pool and hot tub area had lots of towels and were open plenty late and early enough for us to use in the evening and again in the morning. The breakfast had a good selection. The whole experience was all I had hoped for."

"The staff is exceptional! They truly want you to love your stay here and come back again. The negative? Although it was very clean in our cabin the tub surround was moldy and really needed some fresh caulking. The tub itself and toilet needed scrubbing and bleach. Guests are required to do their own dishes or will be charged $50. So what happens unfortunately is really shoddy dish dishwashing. It’s clearly is done hastily to avoid the fee by previous guests. Thus, dishes, glasses, etc. I’ll need wash washing before you can use them as well as after. Next complaint is that our cabin Eagle’s Nest was advertised as being lake view, and mostly it is, unfortunately a ginormous smelly dumpster is in front of the cabin. We will return because the property is beautiful, but some details truly need attention. Also, there is a big gap under the front door that creates quite a draft. Guests from two years ago noted this in the guest book, but it still has not been taken care of. Beautiful lake and beautiful property will keep us coming back."
