The room had so much space and everything we needed for our trip! (Fridge, stove, kitchen utensils, etc) The manager or owner Harry is awesome! We locked our key in our room around 8pm and he was there to help within 5 minutes! The location is right on the beach, short walk to rattlesnake canyon, and quick drive to shoppers, save-on foods, and multiple places to eat made! I loved it, and my teenagers loved it. We already booked for next summer!

You pay for proximity to the beach-Had to ring a bell and wait to check in and person checking in didn’t operate as it is a business/it didn’t seem tourist friendly/not welcoming. The heated pool and hot tub were closed but the pool next door at Falcon was available and nice and we had to ring back to the office to find out where it was. No coffee/toiletries. At least the bed/sheets were clean and it was quiet.

No wi fi, no coffee either in the room or the lobby, a lot of work to be done to bring it to any sort of stay again standard. Lots of money for very poor accommodation. Hard to locate lobby staff, there really is no lobby anyway. We were told they were new owners and working on improvements...OK, until that's done lower the price and disclose what is not available to guests. Bath water was yellow, no hot water, only warm and just for good measure, no bathtub plug. T.V..only worked sporadically with picture and sound issues. Stayed 2 nights to our regret and got no cleaning service at all after the first night....no beds made, no trash emptied, no floor sweep, Nada. Was told it was up to me to advise if housekeeping needed. Enough said

The property is VERY OLD and NEEDS A LOT OF TLC! One of the owners has passed away and his family members are helping keeping it going but it is beyond help. I would 1000% NOT stay here.

The only thing I liked was the close access to the beach and the coffee shop directly across the street. What I didn’t like: Used soap bar left in shower. Window screen so dirty couldn’t see out of it. Floor was dirty. No complimentary shampoo. Fridge leaked water onto the floor. Bed was uncomfortable (for us).

The room was like a tomb. Old, depressing, missing so many typical items. The front desk person was rude several times. Took them 45 min to come help with the TV. For $220, it's obvious these people do NOT invest in their rooms, just take the money and run. Make their exhausted family members run the place. Terrible.

The location is great and straight access to the lake by the swimming zone. The room was clean but extremely dated. The door could only be shut with a slam. The bed and pillows were tired. Lots of families having fun times, but lots of kids toys, floaties and plastic beach toys strewn about. i didn’t mind the kids as they go to bed relatively early and don’t make noise at night time. Good to see families having quality time. Overall, it needs some TLC. Also the checkin person couldn’t find my Expedia reservation even though I was sent a confirmation. They had some rooms left so I was OK.

This hotel should not be allowed to take people's moneyand should be closed down. Besides being absolutely filthy, the staff could not find my Expedia reservation upon check in and actually tried to blame ME for booking at their property, "People just keep booking and booking online but we have no rooms left". The pool was green and slimy and not fit to swim in, hot tub wasn't working, the room full of cobwebs and spiders, the last occupants food crumbs were all over the floor, mouse droppings on the stove, bathrooms sink covered in hair and filthy, TV didn't work. I asked for our room to be cleaned again but no one ever came. We were supposed to be there for 4 nights but we left after 2. No refund given. Expedia needs to stop representing this property!

The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the beach. Close to dining and shopping. It is great that the hotel has a pool. The hotel/room is older the bed was very uncomfortable. It is a good place for the price.

Booked through Expedia, picture on site are NOT at all like the room. AC did not work right, was very hot 29 degrees, issues with TV & remote, cobwebs in room and bathroom, no bathroom fan, no phone in room, very out dated room, 3 plugs in room, one plug had mini fridge, tv, modem, desk lamp in it. The other plug would not keep chargers plugged in. They kept falling out. So you could not use it. The 3rd plug has small desk lamp using it. So we unpluged it and used it for my Husbands Sleep Apnea machine. Then took turns using it for 4 cell phone chargers. Says on site 2 pools, hot tub. There was only one pool it was closed, spa with hot tub was also closed. Nothing worked. Tried to talk with Staff/Owner about these issues, she was very rude, mad that I came to her. Asked if I was checking out. I said yes if your going to Credit back my card. She says No. Then I said I guess you'll be seeing me. Very Disappointed in my booking and Manager. Price $230.00 was definitely not worth the room. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

This is an old motel but everything worked out well for us price wise, because we weren't looking for luxury but just for a place to sleep and enjoy the lake. The air conditioner did the job, but was noisy. Swimming pool and hot tub are clean, barbecue worked and parking was always available. Would come back again.
