"We have stayed here and at other resorts in Osoyoos over the past several years. I don’t like to be overly critical however I have noticed a decline in the quality of service and amenities this year. For a few days there were either no towels at the pool or they were only giving 1 towel per person because one of the machines broke. I can understand that things happen but then a resort that is quite expensive must do something to make up for the issue. Soap requests to the room were forgotten on more than one occasion so we found housekeeping ourselves. Again - not a big deal but if you are charging more money per room than compared to the competition you need to provide a level of service equivalent to your fees. We went to the resorts restaurant the Bear etc and it was okay but not spectacular. I sensed many staff were untrained as most had name tags indicating they were in training (front desk). Perhaps this is due to the seasonal nature of these towns. My only other gripe is that when I brought these issues to the front desks attention I was met with some resistance. After speaking with the manager I have decided not to return to this place."

"We had a wonderful stay at Walnut Beach Resort in Osoyoos! The location is beautiful, with stunning lake views and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The resort was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a family getaway. The food was really good, with plenty of delicious options, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The beach and pool areas were great, and we really enjoyed spending time with our family and taking in the beautiful surroundings. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and a great place to relax and make memories. We would definitely recommend Walnut Beach Resort to anyone visiting Osoyoos, and we look forward to coming back again!"

"Gorgeous view (or would have been if the smoke wasn’t smoky), comfortable bed, huge bathroom. Decor is dated, but we were looking out not in. No sign of staff but easy check in and no problem finding what we needed."
