I had a courtyard facing room and It was super quiet and dark (using the blackout curtains). Exactly what I needed after traveling for 2 days. Very easy to walk to places and nearby public transportation. Staff were all very friendly.

Excellent location, staff are a bit rude and service is not the best, we had to chase them and deal with their attitude to get basic stuff like hand soap, no phone even in the room so easy things like reaching the house keeping is not easy at this hotel.

Very good position for exploring Oslo, though quite a long walk from the railway and bus stations. Room was adequate, clean and comfortable, but there was no safe or even a cupboard to store things. Very noisy some evenings with loud music coming from a nearby club. Staff were all very pleasant. Breakfast was reasonable but the lay out sometimes made it slightly chaotic

Bel hôtel en centre ville

Nous avons séjourné en famille dans cet hôtel car il fait partie de la chaîne Scandic que nous apprécions. Proximité du centre ville, de deux grandes gares, de la mairie et du Port en font une localisation privilégiée. Propreté, accueil, qualité des accessoires confort des couchages et petit déjeuner monumental sont d'autres points forts de cet hôtel. Les deux seuls bémols que je peux relever sont l'absence d'un radiateur d'appoint, la ventilation tourne constamment autour de 20 degrés Celsius, le deuxième point est l'absence d'application sur le téléviseur et l'impossibilité de connecter son téléphone via le Cast, nous avions tout de même occupé nos enfants en bas âge avec des dessins animés en norvégiens, mis à part ça tout le reste était top.

This hotel is best avoided if you are planning to park a car bigger than a Mini as the access to the underground garage is exceptionally narrow, causing loads of damages based on the marks on the walls. More importantly, the noise from the nightclub across the street kept us all awake until way past 2am. It was beyond dreadful. When we mentioned it to the reception staff upon check-out the female staff member was very rude and told us, laughingly, this is what it's like in all cities - it is not. Will not come again.

Requested staff to note an early checkin 5 months ago for 2 rooms, as we are Seniors and our daughter has an 18-month old. I tried to message staff on this and other questions several times over the 5-month period with either no response or "form" responses. After our 15-hour flight we got there around noon, and were told by Kaja that there was no early checkin as they were still cleaning rooms. Tried to escalate our concern to Manager, Mila, but found that she does not work on weekends. So we waited in the lobby with the baby and checked periodically. Continually told our rooms would be ready at 4pm. Finally it is 4pm! Guess what our rooms are still not cleaned and ready. We had to wait another 45 minutes and got into our rooms at 4:45pm. No apologies, No drink coupons or restaurant credit, they offered nothing to attempt to make our situation any better, Got to our rooms and the temperatures was 78 degrees. Seemed like the front desk clerk was on a "power trip" making these seniors and baby wait an extra 45 minutes. Overall it was an absolutely awful experience, especially after 15+ hours of flying. They simply did not care about their customers comfort. NEVER AGAIN! If I could have rate the "Overall Service" and "Staff" a ZERO, I would have.

We highly enjoyed our stay, the bed was huge and super comfortable. Though the room itself was kinda small, dark and claustrophobic. The only window was in the corner and overlooked an inside atrium, so no natural light got into the room. Also the dark paint color on the walls made the room feel smaller than it was. The bathroom had good counter space, the shower was a bit small as it was 2 fold out doors, which didn't stop the water from getting outside and onto the rest of the floor. TV channels were also super limited, with hardly any english speaking channels, not even CNN or BBC. The breakfast was amazing, great selection, very tasty and wonderful attentive staff. The location was wonderful, walking distance to everything you would want to see in Oslo.

The property was fresh and well maintained. Breakfast was giod. The room was not as described or pictured, no desk, no desk chair, no comfy chair or mini fridge. The room was only a foot, 40 cm, wider each side of two single beds pushed together. The room was hot, 24c, air con not effective at all and we were surprised that there was no window at all behind the curtain. Overall disappointing, better options available. Misled by room description needs amending
