We stayed in a large studio for 3 nights on the second floor. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean and accessible. Showers had good water pressure and ran hot, the bathroom was large enough to move around, had a fan, large windows, and closet space, and great L’occitaine amenities. The only minor thing would be the shower stall, it’s quite small, though common in Europe. The location is lovely, and walking around frogner is a visually stunning experience.

Friendly place in upscale Frogner

It’s a great location in the middle of chique Oslo. Hotel is dated. No restaurant in the hotel but you can get a breakfast bag delivered to your room. Great and friendly staff

Excellent position, comfortable. Baker Hansen next door does fabulous cinnamon buns. Would be good to have more than 2 coffee pods, or warning to bring some with you.

Perfect hotel with exceptional service

Our original hotel had lost our booking, so we had nowhere to stay when me and my friends arrived in Oslo for a concert. Luckily, I found this hotel - Frogner House Apartments, and I must say the service was exceptional. Me and my friends arrived 10 minutes after booking the hotel, and they arranged the room immediately and delivered an extra bed and towels quickly, since we were three people. The welcome was kind and keen, and the room had a kitchen area with fridge and dishwasher. We bought our own breakfast from the store close by, but you could order breakfast to the room if you liked. The room was airy and bright during the day, and we got a comfortable sleep during the night. I will definitelt stay at this place next time I'll be visiting Oslo; I highly recommend this hotel!

I have stayed at this hotel perhaps 15 times over the past 5-6 years. Perhaps more times. Maybe over 100 days all together. I would think they would want to think about me as a VIP guest and reach out and ask how I am doing and maybe offer something or even ask for feedback directly. It is a bit impersonal. But I like the area and it is very convenient for me.

The apartment is lovely! The building and surrounding area are very attractive. The location is excellent! Communication leading up to our stay was fabulous. The only negative we found was that it was a little hard to fall asleep for two reasons. 1) you have to leave the key in the wall cardholder for the electricity to run and as a result one light stayed on all night. It was necessary to keep the electricity on to charge our phones overnight, and 2) the tram runs in front of the building well into the night and they are loud if you need to keep the windows open overnight which we had to do as a result of warm weather. BUT, we would stay again at Frogner House because the place is really lovely.

A little disappointing.

The room was comfy and spacious, and the location of the property was very good. Sadly, the drainage in the wet room was terrible.. if the shower was put at full power the room wood begin to flood immediately, even on half power the room would flood after a couple of minutes. The property is obviously aware of this as the bathroom had a huge squeegee in the corner for residents to remove the water with.. but maybe it would be nice to sort out the actual problem. The ‘high speed’ WiFi was actually extremely patchy.. zoom calls dropping out, streaming very slow. Particularly during the day, it would disconnect and reconnect constantly which caused problems as I had to work on my laptop in the room. The kitchen was tiny (nice big fridge though).. I had to put the coffee machine on the floor to use it. I’m 172cm tall and I couldn’t reach one of the cupboards! Lastly, the window had only blackout curtains and no blinds, so you were either a fishbowl or had to keep them closed. Little improvements like this would make the room feel cosier.

This was a very nice hotel and the most spacious room with a kitchette. Love the black outs on the windows and the ability to fully open the windows for airflow. Best part is that the room had a small fan!!!

We loved this area of Oslo—so cute and close to everything. Very quiet. Our room was perfect—aside from the cot which was uncomfortable for our grandson. The bed was great. We really used the little kitchen too since there was a grocery store nearby. It wasn't hot and that was good because I don’t think the room had air conditioning. Check-in and communication was super easy!

No one in reception area during 2 day stay. Locking the door needed explanation. Breakfast left in bag in front of door without any preference asked i e eggs & cheese sat outside door for 3 hours. We don’t eat either. Outside noise continued during night. Very, very disappointed with Frogner House.
