The Oslavany Castle (Renaissance). The Foundation goes back to the year 1225, when the first Cistercian Monastery in Moravia "Vallis s. Mariae" (Mary-Valley), who was ordained in 1228 in the presence of King Premysl Otakar I and his second wife Constance. This castle was confiscated by the Wehrmacht as Jewish property and was used as army barracks untill 1945.

The room was big with good space to open both our 28" luggage cases. The location is about 10 mins walking distance from the town center. We got a 12 floor room, so the view was awesome!
