A welcome, relaxing stay, thank you. Staff were kind and helpful. Hotel was heavily booked so we had to accept a smoking room, yet to their credit there was no odour. Couldn`t ask for better.
It was pretty good , close to the station its in an office area. So its pretty quiet
Didnt try the breakfast there's a building in front with a lot of breakfast option you probably can fjnd something cheaper than the hotel breakfast pricr
Simple hotel that’s conveniently located. Clean rooms, restaurant in the bottom with a very good Japanese breakfast buffet (not included in stay), also a 7Eleven in the bottom.
Is a little complicated to get to the right exit that leaves you close to the hotel from the train station, the hotel is a little old and the carpet could use a really good vacuum at the corners. The room is very small. But the bed is comfy, the amenities are good and the store at the lobby is very convenient. The breakfast is a little lacking in variety, but gets the job done

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The hotel is a little old and the rooms are very small. But the location is very close to Shin Osaka station so very convenient when arriving from there. The bed was good. The breakfast downstairs is from a restaurant and it was a little expensive for what they offered. The carpet edges were a little dusty and the overall vibe of the building is that it hasn't been renovated in a while.
It’s about 7 minutes walk to Shin-Osaka Station via skywalk through a commercial building, which you can access after a minute walk outside. It’s like any other JR VIA hotels, so nothing fancy but everything is clean, at least in my opinion. I did not have much interaction with staff so can’t say they were good or bad. Overall, recommended.
Good in terms of amenities and the bathroom is average (a bit cramped), but the (smoking room) bedroom had a strong smell of smoke and the walls had some stains. There is an air purifier at least, but it doesn't remove the smell entirely; I had a hard time breathing at night. Staff were very nice if we needed extra help checking in/out.
If you’re a non-smoker/sensitive to stale cigarette air, definitely avoid booking the smoking rooms. I must have messed up or maybe they gave me the wrong room but I was stuck in a smoking room and the whole floor stank as soon as you step out of the elevator. The plus is that they do have air purifier floor machine in the room and a window that opens, which was very considerate to try and purify the air, but in the end the smell was just so strong. I also unexpectedly got a cold from the trip, so breathing the stale cigarette air was awful. Not sure if other floors with non smoking rooms smelled better… overall it’s clear this building is very old and in need of a deep clean. Underneath the bed was very dusty and my boyfriend was sneezing the whole time.
Love that this hotel was right next to Shin Osaka station. They’re also building/renovating a floor 1 7/11. Great location. But not necessarily a comfortable stay.

Fair hotel slightly let down by the shoebox rooms!
This is a handy little hotel which, while a little out-of-the way from central Osaka, is useful in terms of affordability. It is also, usefully, a short walk from Shin-Osaka station, which affords a link to Osaka, as well as Kansai Airport and Universal Studios / Super Nintendo Land.
Check-in is a lengthy, but simple, process and staff (while present) are unobtrusive. The atmosphere is quiet and the ambience is suitable for single travellers, or those with a friend. There are fair views of Osaka from the windows.
The rooms, however, aren't very nice. They are clean and tidy, but oppressively small and cluttered. If you are travelling with anything more than one case, you will need to remove some things from your room in order to make space.
Tea and coffee making facilities are provided, but the kettle is nowhere hear a plug socket, and the available socket has no table provided on which to rest the kettle. Rooms contain a pod shower and toilet; however, the shower is inaccessible for those with impaired mobility.
The beds are incredibly uncomfortable with very hard pillows seemingly filled with rocks. As a traveller suffering from a neck injury, I found this unbearably painful. The hotel will not provide anything softer.
Overall, this is an OK hotel for those wishing to explore Osaka on their own terms... but I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay, for reasons outlined above!
Very strict check-in time (i was 15 minutes early), staff doing useless greeting when they could have been checking people in at the desk (very japanese use of staff), and the checkout is 10am!!
The A/C didnt work at all, only heat.
Dont stay here, even if you're desperate. Internet cafe or karaoke would be a better night stay
