「The Best Western Plus Larco Hotel is overrated. It's outside the city center (30 to 40 minutes on foot), the rooms are tiny and certainly not what you would expect of a hotel that is rated 4 stars, the breakfast is ordinary and repetitive. They also have a nickel and dime attitude that is deplorable. As an example, they give you one litre of water the first day that you arrive, but want you to pay for it starting on the second day. 「we chose this hotel for our honeymoon and it's a decision we definitely didn't regret. the hotel itself was immaculate, clean, had everything essential on site. it's great to have the indoor and outdoor pools available as well as the spa where you can get a massage. the sauna is very good too. 「Best located in Protaras - right above Fig Tree Bay (the most beautiful beach in Protaras). The hotel itself is a bit dated and the general feel is that of a 4 star hotel - it wouldn't hurt to freshen up the rooms and balconies a bit as well as the beds around the pools. The room cannot be darkened (the curtains are not blackout). The breakfast is good and the entire staff is very friendly and happy to help with anything. The hotel is excellent value for money.」
