It was the perfect location for us, literally in Old Town. I wanted to see as much of the old town as possible because my great great grandmother grew up in this town. They have an excellent museum, many places to sit and have coffee or meal and there were at least three grocery stores in a short distance. This hotel staff were very helpful and catered to our American requests for ice to add to our drinks. We even met the owner and he was delightful to talk to you also.

We had to check in at a different hotel about a 3 min walk away which was odd. And all of the staff and breakfast was at that hotel too. The hostel was in a very old building. The kitchen was very nice with everything we needed. Our room, with two bunk beds was very small and rustic. The mattress and pillow were very worn. I think these rooms have had a lot of use and it shows. No light in the hallway. Many things needed attention, but it seemed like this operation has other priorities with its campground, cottages, and restaurant. The restaurant did offer a very good meal at a good price. We did not eat breakfast there. They...
