「Room was perfect. View from the room looking over the harbour. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing and the portions were large. No skimping on anything. Breakfast was really good and no pressure to rush. Will definitely recommend and return to this hotel if we can come back to Orkney. A big thank you to all the staff that looked after us. 」

Excellent arrangement from the host even with our short notice of breakfast time due to the local tour. So quiet neighbourhood and we had nice sleep. Walk to city centre takes about 30 minutes. 」

「Great apartment right in the centre of Kirkwall town. Literally in the alley few seconds to a bar serving food. Then the harbour front is seconds away Make sure you go into the Albert street car park stay left and turn into, usually a space outside the apartment can park for free. Go up couple steps and will see Ivy house 」
