「WE had a brilliant short stay in Chester. We visited Liverpool by train and Nantwich by bus. The city centre and plenty of restaurants were all within a few minutes walk. The Golden Eagle was first class. The owner and staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We are already thinking of another stay with them.」

I had booked a superior king bedroom but they had upgraded us to a suite which was so special, there was a card in the room congratulating us on our 16th anniversary. Such lovely touches to make the experience truly memorable. The bed was huge, comfortable and clean. The suite was spacious with a great view of the beautiful city of Chester.
