Hotel Valley Ho

10/10 Excellent

"First impression, valet service is excellent. Room was not ready at 4pm check in. The grounds are beautiful. The adults only pool is quiet and enjoyable. Dinner at ZuZu was excellent and priced well. We recommend the brookie with all the toppings for dessert. Room was very nice, clean and cool. You can sit on the balcony after dark when it cools down. Wife loves mid-century style hotels and the Valley Ho provided."

"Had a fabulous stay! The suite was perfect for traveling with kids, giving us a separate sleeping space. Most importantly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. And unlike other Hilton's we've stayed at, the fridge actually kept things cold. We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony at night and watching distant lightning. The complimentary sangria at check-in was a nice touch, and the property is beautifully built into the surrounding rocks. The gift shop was convenient, and the pools were a huge hit with our kids, they couldn't stay off the slide! We also appreciated being able to text the hospitality team for assistance. And the room was quiet and we never heard our neighbors. We didn't get a chance to try breakfast but I bet it's good. My only complaints, and they were all quite minor: The sofa bed was very lumpy for my kids, I had to put pillows and extra bedding on top to help them sleep. The main pools closed earlier than expected for summer, and the adult pool was closed throughout our stay. With another pool designated as adults only, evening pool options were limited to the smaller pools. The drinks at the pool weren't that great, especially for the price. Also, I'm sure they couldn't really help it but there was a bark scorpion in our room one morning, pretty scary. All in all, would happily come back!"

"I absolutely loved this hotel. My drive took longer than expected and the staff was so gracious about my arrival time. I was pleasantly impressed by the overall interior design of the room upon my arrival and was surprisingly sad I was only staying the one night. Definitely a spot I will continue to book in the future just because of the design concept and its perfect execution."
