Lovely rural farm style retreat.
Rural retreat run by a lovely couple on their small holding. Motel style rooms with outside doors separate to the main house, a communal kitchen where the breakfast (excellent with local produce) is served and available for use if you wish. The only aspect less than perfect is the room design, our two story (mezzanine sleeping area) room had only one low level opening window. It was hot when we were there and it really should have had the high level window as an opener at the very least. They did provide a very effective fan however, nothing was too much trouble for these guys and I'd happily go back. Not for you if you're not comfortable among dogs and other (tame) animals, otherwise recommended.

This beautiful place in the country was so much more than I was expecting! It was peaceful and charming with only about a 10 minute trip to the center of town. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this lovely bed and breakfast and will stay here again!

This place is amazing! Owners are among the kindest people ever met ready to make you feel home, in a place where nature is everywhere...Really recommended. A shame we stayed just a couple of days with not amazing weather, I am sure in summer this would be heaven

Lovely and very friendly B&B on a working farm. We were made to feel very welcome and at home. The room was spacious and traditional with an ensuite bathroom but the only draw back is the shared toilet in the corridor. The buffet breakfast was fantastic with most of the produce coming from the farm itself.

If you love animals,cycling,countryside and amazing breakfasts this is your place. Im never sure about booking hotels online but this place exceeded expectations.Really cosy room with a mezzanine ,sofa ,little gas fire place and breakfast was great and all locally produced .The b&b was a 20 euro taxi ride from train station and a 30 min bike ride to central Bruges. Free bikes to borrow at this b&b and it was what first attracted me to this place together with having lots of animals around . The host very kindly gave us a lift to the train station on day of departure and I would definately recommend this place ,we couldn't have had a better stay!

Nice countryside - not good for active toddlers!
Pros: Great proper farm with additional B&B facilities. All animals and overall feelings are amazing. Easy to find location - just 12 min drive from Bruges centre. The room was nicely decorated and cosy. The toilet and shower were the only concern, as both are in form of semi open space. It is a very quiet and pieceful site. Cons: If you come late at night, there is no one who will meet you there, as hosts made it clear that "this is a B&B" and "customers should understand that the hosts need to sleep". However, there is a simple procedure where a visitor comes and goes to his/her room on his/her own. Fair enough. It works fine. Although it appears to be a very good place to stay for kids, we would not advise it for families with active toddlers. Hosts are friendly people but are very fussy if your kid do what children usually do when they go out. E. g. in our case Caroline complained and asked us to take our daughter's shoes when she enters the kitchen (where all adults walk wearing shoes). She was very annoyed that our 2 years somehow slightly soiled a chair cushion in the kitchen. By the way, this a proper working farm with grass all around. When wether is a bit rainy or after night (during spring/autumn) there is no chance that your feet will stay absolutely clean. After such demand we ended up feeding our daughter outside the kitchen - in the garden. Hence, THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED PLACE FOR THOSE WITH ACTIVE TODDLERS.

A fantastic place to stay
A fab place to stay with welcoming hosts. My boys loved being able to see the farm animals. The breakfast is amazing as everything is either homemade or using local produce from the neighbouring farm. We would definitely come again to stay.

A perfect wonderful retreat
Caroline and William were excellent hosts. The goats were friendly, the bunnies cute, and the breakfasts and breakfast room were amazing. Don't forget to get your bowl of home made ice cream before going to bed....the favors were amazing

Superb experience all round
The whole property was very tastefully renovated and decorated and was pleasant to spend time in rather than just going there to sleep. The food was plentiful and delicious and mostly grown and prepared by Caroline. The breakfast kitchen was available for us to use at any time to prepare and cook meals if we wanted. Caroline and her family were very helpful and provided information books and directions. Altogether , I think it was the nicest B&B/Hotel we have ever stayed at and will be going back there again.

Cycle to Bruges
Nice room, good size, warm and comfortable. Bed on mezzanine upstairs. Really good breakfast with lots of home produce from their farm. Free use of bikes, easy to cycle to Bruges on cycle paths, which was definitely a highlight for us. Made to feel very welcome

A very charming inn just a few miles from Bruges.
A lovely place in a quiet setting, carefully ran by owners Caroline and William. An excellent base to explore Bruges and other towns in the region, or to simply relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Spacious, comfortable rooms with a great view. Excellent breakfast, with most products either made in-house or from the nearby farms.

Amost enjoyable stay everything was perfect
We had a great stay. Our Room was an old barn turned into private rooms. The room was perfect and very clean, Our sleep was first class in a very comfortable bed with no noise. The breakfast was superb all home grown produce ,goats cheese, strawberry yogurt,bread, fresh eggs , cheese etc. I will return and would recommend to friends

Das Betreiber Ehepaar sind sehr nett und Gastfreundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Kinder hatte sehr viel Spaß mit den vielen Hunden, Pferden und Hase. Alle Tiere sind kinderfreundlich.

Un lugar con mucho encanto
El B&B es un sitio con encanto para disfrutar a las gentes que nos gusta la naturaleza y los animales. El desayuno es abundante y con productos caseros: fabuloso. La limpieza y la decoración es muy exquisita. Y los anfitriones, William y Caroline son estupendos. Todo un acierto muy recomendable para estar cerquita de Brujas y disfrutar del campo.

Уютный домик в деревне!
Очень приветливая хозяйка помогла быстро освоится в доме. Наш номер состоял из небольшого помещения с антресолью, на которой располагалась кровать (двухспальная, но их двух матрасов) Другая двухспальная (с одним матрасом) кровать была внизу. В комнате есть все удобства: душ, туалет, посуда, чай, полотенца, отопление. В целом приятный интерьер. Из недостатков номера: очень холодный пол первого этажа (плитка) и очень горячая решетка на радиаторе, при включенном отопления - можно обжечься. Великолепные завтраки, с разнообразными видами закусок, сыров, булочек, джемов, йогуртов, сваренный кофе - дарили позитивный настрой с самого утра! Территорию отеля мы толком изучить не успели, открытый бассейн в декабре не пригодился, но насладились деревенскими утренними пейзажами :) Местоположение: в 15 минутах езды от Брюгге на авто.

Zo proper en plezant!
De accommodatie ligt heel landelijk, rustig en midden in de weilanden. Je hoort alleen de varkentjes of de kippen tokken, zo stil is het. De bedden sliepen fijn. Wij sliepen in de ‘blauwe’ kamer met eigen badkamer, fijn. Schattig en kneuterig ingericht a la pip stijl, leuk! Lekkere stortdouche! Wel een tip om een afzuiging aan te schaffen voor het douchen (beslagen ramen/damp in de kamer). Relaxed dat er een tv is zodat we ‘s avonds lekker een film konden kijken na een hele dag in Brugge. Het ontbijt was helemaal super! Wat ze zelf kunnen maken, is zelfgemaakt. Van koeienmelk, koeienyoghurt, geitenkaas, jam, eieren van eigen kippen etc. Hartstikke lekker en veel keus! Even zoeken naar de muesli die bij de koffie stond 😉 ik vond de 3 honden helemaal leuk en zij mij ook! Er is ruimte om het mooi onderhouden erf te bekijken en een plekje in de tuin te zoeken (nu regende het pijpenstelen!). Kortom, een heel fijn verblijf in een landelijk, schattig huis met een heerlijk ontbijt!

Un posto delizioso a pochi km dal centro di Gent. I proprietari disponibili e gentili fanno di tutto per far sentire gli ospiti a casa loro. Entrando si viene accolti da ovini e maialini thai liberi di pascolare all’interno di apposite recinzioni. Ruhiger Landgasthof in der Nähe von Brügge Ein etwas außerhalb gelegenes Landhaus, liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmern mit Spaß am Detail, bietet für unseren Kurzurlaub alles was man wünscht. Die Vermieter sind sehr emphatisch und haben uns sofort in der Nähe ein Platz zum Abendessen reserviert. Zu unserer Überraschung ein gut geführtes Restaurant ( Zotte Mutze ) mit schönem Platz zum draußen essen. Das Frühstück mit hausgemachten Leckereien, wie Kuchen, Marmelade und Salaten ist ab vom üblichen continental breakfast und überaus reichlich.Eventuell sitzt man mit anderen Gästen an einem Tisch, was sehr unterhaltsam sein kann.

Un cadre exceptionnel et chaleureux
Nous cherchions un week-end de repos et retrouver un peu de nature, nous avons été servis ! Établissement accueillant et chaleureux, tout autant que nos hôtes Caroline et sa petite famille. L'espace extérieur est tout simplement magnifique, avec un bassin pour vous rafraîchir, un immense jardin ombragé, et une terrasse superbe. La compagnie des animaux (chiens, chats, lapins, chevaux, etc) est très agréable tout en n'étant pas envahissante. Autre point positif, le petit déjeuner exceptionnel composé quasi uniquement de produits faits maison. Un dépaysement total à une heure de chez nous !

Ruhiges Ambiente im Bauernhof
Ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Apartament in einem Bauerhof.Es erwartet eine idyllische Ruhe und eine Top Bedienung.Ein schönes und ein von den Besitzern selbst gemachtes (fast alles wird auf dem Bauernhof gemacht) Frühstück rundet den Aufenthalt perfekt ab.Man kann das nur mit dem Auto erreichen,es lohnt sich aber sehr!

Logement très confortable, décoré avec goût. Très bonne literie en mezzanine. Environnement bucolique. Petit déjeuner exceptionnel, avec des produits biologiques, en bonne partie issus de la production propre. Accueil charmant, sans être intrusif. A 10 minutes en voiture du centre de Bruges, à 30 minutes de la mer. Une adresse vraiment exceptionnelle

A Perfect Getaway
Wundervoller Urlaub außerhalb von Brügge. Perfekt zum entspannen in der Natur mit herzliche Gastgeber Familie. Frühstück mit hausgemachten Produkten ist einzigartig. Zum chillen am Naturpool und zur Erfrischung ein Speiseeis aus der eigenen Eismanufaktur. Rundum ein schönes Wochenende mit der Familie. Gerne wieder , dann aber länger.

3 Sterne B&B in ländl. Gegend mit Haustieren
Für 2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind war das Familienzimmer ziemlich eng, es gab nur 2 Sitzplätze an einem Minitisch. Kofferabstellmöglichkeiten gab es nicht. Die Betten waren sehr gut und breit. Ein Bad gab es nicht, nur einen Duschkopf hinter dem Schrank vor der Toilette, mittels Plastikvorhang abzuteilen und auf dem eisigen Steinfußboden des Zimmers lag nichts, wo man sich draufstellen konnte. Damit das Wasser nicht im Raum stand, mußte es mit einem Abzieher nach hinten geschoben werden. Wir haben Badepantoffeln angezogen, um auf die Toilette zu gehen nach dem Duschen. Die Toilette war im auch in diesem Zimmer, mit einer Tür, die oben und unten offen war. Alle Toilettengerüche von 3 Personen waren dann im Raum! Die im Zimmer nach oben führende Holztreppe, um zu den beiden Einzelbetten zu kommen, war sehr steil und für ein Kind nicht ungefährlich. Die Gasheizung heizte zwar gut, aber wenn es unten warm war, konnte man es oben vor Wärme kaum aushalten, also blieb es bei uns unten kühl. Das Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig, auf meinen Wunsch nach Margarine konnte oder wollte man nicht eingehen, die habe ich mir dann in einem Supermarkt selbst holen müssen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte hier gar nicht, da diese Unterbringung teurer war, als das eher luxeriöse Van der Valkhotel inkl. Frühstück! Einzig die Haustiere waren die Freude für das Kind.

Hübsches Hotel, ruhige Lage in der Nähe von Brugge
Freundliches und hilfreiches Personal, Frühstück hervorragend, alles bietet eine erholungsvolle Zeit ... Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!! Wenn nich so weit weg wäre, würde gerne oft zurückkehren!!
