"There was great communication between us and the staff. We did have a bit of trouble when it came to the airport shuttle, but it was solvable and in the end did not have an impact on our experience there. The location is beautiful. "I am American and my beach vacations are usually to Mexico. Please keep that in mind when reading my review as that is what I will compare most of it to. I am spoiled. If you are familiar with that type of resort, this will dissapoint you. 1. If you are expecting something nice and modern you will not get that here. This hotel is very outdated. The service is on par for a nicer hotel. The staff was 4/5, Actual hotel probably 2/5. The AC is very weak and Okinawa is hot and humid. The first night we were sweating and had to call for a fan. We left the ac running the next day and it was much more comfortable. Also the parking lot is far from the hotel. They do have a shuttle though. 2. The beach was fantastic. The water here is some of the best I've seen. Bahamas level or better. There are still some fish in the swimming area even though its netted off. 3. Expensive! This hotel was the most expensive of our entire Japan trip and probably the worst. Not only was the stay expensive but everything you wanted to do there cost extra and there was a huge mark up on drinks. I got used to paying under 500 yen for a beer in the mainland but here it was 1000 for one beer. Even 990 for a cola! I got used to Japan prices for the previous 10 days and then got sticker shock when I had to pay America type prices. I would not stay here again. Would just pay to use beach"

"Everything was great except the matresses which were too hard, I have never got used to them and I have stayed here before. Also, the doors from the elevators to the rooms do not close completly and you have to push them shut to preserve the air conditioning indoors. I would fix that. The breakfast in this place is great! Parking is easy. You also can't beat the views from your room, the beach is so beautiful. Fix the doors and provide a softer matress option and 5 stars is a no brainer. Need help? The staff here will take care of you. That's how we got our rental car. It was dropped off and picked up at the hotel. I highly reccomend this place. Cheaper than the big hotels but offers every bit as much!"

"What a lovely place to stay. Beautiful view of the ocean and easy access to it. Love the hotel pajamas. They are so comfortable. We rented a car and had a wonderful time exploring nearby areas and driving north. Also, we could go at our own pace and not worry about getting to the tours on time and feeling rushed through our experiences. We would love to stay here again if we return to Onna City. Very clean, great customer service, great amenities, spacious accommodations."

"This hotel was genuinely amazing. The views from the rooms are incredible, and the rooms themselves are very spacious. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel does feel a bit dated and has a strong late 80s/early 90s style, but the facilities are large, well maintained, and functional. The private beach is absolutely beautiful and a real highlight of the stay. However, the pool was not clean during our visit, which was disappointing and meant we chose not to use it. Breakfast was also quite limited, especially in terms of sweet options, with mostly savoury choices available and very little variety for those who prefer something sweeter. With some updates to the decor and improvements to breakfast and pool maintenance, this could easily be a 5-star hotel."
