We enjoyed our stay at Ahuriri Motels. We just stayed one night here on our travels around NZ. Check in and out was easy. The room was cosy and easy to heat, which was good as it had been very cool that day. A nice touch was the fresh milk that was provided when you arrived.

This place is great for a couple of nights if you’re visiting the nearby attractions such as Aoraki/Mt Cook. The facility is older and maybe due for a renovation. However, it still offers a good value. You can park the car right infront of your room. They gave us fresh milk to have with coffee, which was a nice touch! Restaurant options are not great in that small community. Overall, it was a good night stay for us after hiking in the Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park.

Comfortable enough for our stay

Room was very clean and everything in good order. Could park on the grass outside our room which was handy. Friendly team looking after us. A nice touch that they turned a heater on prior to us arriving and there was another heater if we needed it.

Excellent Motel

Was an excellent stay. Motel units were really clean, super comfy beds and bathroom linen. It was a freezing cold night and the rooms were very warm and well insulated. Kitchen well stocked with everything you could need for self catering. Staff very friendly and helpful.
