「We had high expectations for this property, especially given the good communication from the owner before our arrival, who provided helpful information. However, our experience was far from what we had hoped. The biggest issue was the noise. Our room (Room 3) was located next to a busy road, and the bin collection at 5:00 AM added to the disturbance. The rooms are not soundproof, so we could hear everything from neighboring rooms—doors closing, showers running, conversations, and even toilets...

「Unsere Wohnung war sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Die Küche hat einen großen Kühlschrank, eine Backofen/Herdkombination und eigentlich alles was das Herz begehrt. Draußen konnten wir uns auf der Terrasse entspannen, hatten einen großen Esstisch und genossen den Duft der Jasminbüsche. Der Besitzer Stavros ist sehr um das Wohlergehen seiner Gäste bemüht. 「This was our first hotel experience as a couple, as we normally hire a villa, car and fend for ourselves. However, family tragedies dictated that we needed to escape and be “looked after” in order to de-stress, rest and recharge our batteries after six weeks of heartache. 「We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. ​Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. 「A lovely hotel with fantastic, friendly staff and a great location - if you have a car you can get to almost anywhere on the island in approx. one hour. Also close to Sami main town - about a 15 minute walk along the coastal path where there are lots of nice restaurants」

「Although a small apartment kitchen/dining, shower room and bedroom. Good balcony overlooking pool and out to see with uninterrupted views of those magnificent sunsets. You do need to hire a car. Although limited utensils we could make our own breakfast. Although there is breakfast available at 15€ pp. Plenty of places to eat locally all drivable. 」
