「We were surprised with how close this was from the Interislander baggage claim, got there in about 3mins. This was great news because our ferry was delayed due to the awful weather on the Strait. The owner was there at reception well after 9pm to let us in. The owners were also very helpful, told us where to get supplies from and even let us leave our bag at reception while we went into town. On that note, it's also very close to town too, just a stones throw. 」

「The rooms are clean and tidy. Unfortunately we have to share the toilet and bath which was very irritated because it was outside the cabins. My friend who is 72 years old and has to go to toilet at night time which is very inconvenient to her.」

「French Fields is a breath taking place to stay. Beautiful Lavender fields, Olive & fruit trees. Lovely pool area, very clean and private. Accommodation was amazing, with its own private patio surrounded by Rosemary & Lavender. The aromas were incredible. We stayed in the Lavender suite. It was gorgeous, spacious and quaint all at the same time. Cute little kitchenette tucked into a cabinet, roomy sitting area and adorable raised area for the King sized bed. Breakfast provided was...

「Although the reception is not opened for 24 hours, the duty staffs were helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is a little bit far from the ferry terminal, it is still OK because Picton is safe even we needed to walk in the darkness between the terminal and the hotel. In addition, two supermarkets are not far away. I will choose this hotel again if I come back especially the room rate is reasonable. 」
