"Very happy with Icon. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! "

"This was one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in in my life- and I have travelled a lot! Often when you rent a place, upon arrival you discover that the photos were taken at a misleading angle, or that something about the place is not really as nice as it was spelled out to be. "To start, just walking thru the village in Varenna was amazing! Then we got to the piazza that was all lit up with twinkling lights on every tree. The Hotel Royal Victoria didn’t disappoint. The staff was warm and friendly and our room was absolutely beautiful! There was a hand written note and treats waiting for us. The view of Lake Como was incredible. The room was clean and we enjoyed a wonderful nights sleep in the comfortable bed. The breakfast spread and view from every table was a bonus. We hope to return again someday! "
