My second stay at this wonderfull hotel. Very frendly and nice staff. Nature around this hotel is very beautiful. Breakfast is excellent. Specially recommend to visit the Dan Garden Lounge close to the castle.

A lovely place to celebrate ♥️

We booked Castello Dal Pozzo as a special treat to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The whole estate is just stunning, and the team was so welcoming. They gave us a lovely upgrade for our anniversary and were so accommodating for my coeliac disease. The pool was incredible! As were the views and, of course, the wine room! We would recommend taking part in a wine tasting ♥️🍷 On our first night, we had dinner at the Dan Garden Lounge, which was so romantic. Then, on a separate night, I had the best gluten-free club sandwich I've ever had from The main bar/ restaurant! Even though we went at the end of the season and things were closing up, the team couldn't have been more helpful!

From the moment we arrived at the Castello until the moment we left we felt of taken care of in the best way. The staff was super friendly and professional, Samantha helped us to find the perfect room for us, a very nice junior suite with view of the lago di maggiore. In the beginning we did not understand that there are actually 3 different housing options but everything was clear after the explanation. The rooms are very clean and nice. We had dinner on arrival outside in the restaurant of the hotel and the food and wine were excellent. Breakfast was rich with many options. This is a beautiful spot where it is quiet and within minutes you are among people and nice restaurants if you want. We definitely recommend this place and we hope to return there again.

Very nice place, a little hard to find from the beginning, quiet and very nice staff. The classification of the rooms is a little strange, historical rooms being the cheapest ones. Fantastic dinners at Le Fief, the in-house restaurant.

The hotel is exquisitely furnished with marble, Venetian chandeliers, tapestries and fine fabrics. The staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine with historical significance. About 30 minutes from MXP in a quaint small town. Certainly beats the standard stay in a generic airport hotel and well worth the extra time to drive even if only for one night.

The property is AMAZING...it is a castle nestled on beautiful grounds with paths/trees, etc. They have a pool and three restaurants. However, the rooms were a bit tired and needed some remodeling. With some improvements, the place can be a nice location near Lake Maggiore to visit!

Castello Dal Pozzo is a lovely historical property on lovely grounds. We were given an upgraded room and sparkling wine on arrival. However, the quaint room in the tower had problems with the air conditioning/heating system. It was not working correctly (no cooling on first night, but system gurgled so loudly that it sounded like a waterfall); when we informed staff the next day, they tried to fix it, but when we returned in the evening it was instead blowing hot air and still gurgling a loudly as before - room temp was up to 26C and climbing on warm May evening. We ended up asking staff to turn off the system, which stopped the hot air from blowing, but did not stop the noise. We slept with windows open both nights, but stink bugs flew in by the many dozens.

Disappointing experience

Complaint Regarding Our Stay at Castello del Pazzo To whom it migh concern at Castello del Pazzo Management, I am writing to express our profound disappointment with our stay at your establishment. As frequently travelers who always seek out unique destinations and hotels, we were looking forward to our visit to your five-star hotel. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. Upon arrival, our first impression was marred by the poor quality of food served at the pool area. Instead of a relaxing, luxurious environment, we were met with an overwhelming number of screaming children and numerous restrictions, making it feel more like a children's aqua park than a five-star retreat. The experience was far from relaxing and did not align with the high standards one would expect from such a hotel. The strict rules regarding dining and smoking at the pool area were particularly off-putting. Constantly having to move if we wanted to eat or smoke made it very difficult to relax. Furthermore, the music at the pool was excessively loud and, combined with the noise from the children, made the environment intolerable, prompting us to leave early. Our first visit to the restaurant Le FEIF was equally disappointing. Once again, we encountered restrictions on smoking at the table, despite being in an open-air setting. This seemed unnecessarily restrictive for adult guests on vacation. Additionally, the mosquito problem at your property caused significant discomfort. B
