「Amazing experience - only an overnight stay but on arrival super friendly check-in. Complimentary red wine in room and when receptionist found out we had to leave very early next morning (6:15) to catch our train and would miss breakfast she arranged a packed lunch for us to take with us instead. So thoughtful (and very tasty)! Room was great too with v comfy bed. Definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again if come back to Regensburg. Thank you!」

「I booked Hotel Jakob because of its proximity to Regenburg Aldstadt centre. The hotel receptionist kindly dispelled any fears of a parking issue by allocating an open garage parking space (€17.00/n). Sadly, the hotel did not have evening meals, but there were plentiful restaurants within 5-10 mins walk. Near central location meant everywhere was within reasonable level walking distance. 「A clean room in an excellent location of Regensberg. Friendly staff. You will have to climb some stairs but it wasn’t an issue for us. 」

「Very helpful staff, they went out of their way to accommodate requests and checked in with us for any requirements every morning. We visited Regansburg at a time when it was very unseasonably hot and they provided a second fan. But we only had one window and the curtains were very thin. Despite the heat it was nice to have a room that fit our 5 family members. Cool water from the sink helped. The location can't be beat, though no parking directly on site, it wasnt far and was free. ...

「Unique place! But there are 54 steps amongst 4 or 5 flights of stairs. Would not be a good place to stay for people unable to make those flights of steep stairs with luggage.」
