The restroom upon checking in was a journey, so that was quite annoying. The check in was great, the room beautiful, the gym well equipped (could be a bit better), the steak ordered from room service was the best steak I’ve have in a while, they know how to make a medium rare steak! Will definitely return!

I cannot say enough great things about our stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our wedding night memorable. The ambiance is key! The front office was incredibly helpful and personable! The bar was understaffed and somewhat inhospitable. We did get waited on and drinks were great. The entire space is drafty; take your coat for sure. The mattresses need replacing; they are uncomfortably dished, but rooms are clean and very nice. Overall we love the romance of The National and enjoy spending our Anniversary there.
