👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was outdated, poorly designed, unclean, and had an unbearable odor. I stayed for just one night and checked out the next morning. However, right after returning my room key and getting into my car to leave, a male staff member suddenly knocked on my window and arrogantly asked if I still had a room. I told him I stayed there last night but had already checked out. He rudely demanded that I leave immediately. This behavior was highly inappropriate and made me feel very uncomfortable. Being driven away just minutes after checking out, without being given adequate time to organize and leave, showed a complete lack of respect for guests. I’ve stayed at many hotels but have never experienced such rude service. If you plan to stay at this hotel, be prepared to leave immediately after checkout, or you may face the same unpleasant treatment.

Parking was free and easy. Check in was quick. Hair dryer did not work in my room. No refrigerator in room or coffee maker. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. And check out was quick and easy.

I’ll start with the three good things about the property: there is a six story observation tower with an amazing view of the area; the grass areas were neat and capacious; I didn’t see any ants or roaches in my room. Speaking of the room… It was beat up; the cold water tap did not turn on; the shower water was likewise defective; the TV was the size of my laptop monitor; the curtains were torn and didn’t close; the door was super hard to shut; the electronic door lock didn’t work with my key; paint was peeling and there were unpainted patches. Breakfast was bad. No healthy choices at all. I got there one hour into the three hour breakfast time and there were 3 sad pieces of bread and 1 unidentifiable piece of pastry. The waffle iron was hot but there was no waffle batter - not that it was empty there wasn’t ANY. The warming trays were empty - not that the food was gone - they were empty. Luckily there is a breakfast place across the street. I strongly recommend my fellow travelers think twice about staying here.

Room was spacious, comfortable and mostly clean. Easy overnight stay. Front desk staff was courteous. Place is kind of rundown in general, but good enough for a quick night on the road. Dock and dock bar / restaurant not accessible or operable. So the main photo you see when making your lodging choice is not open. Pool was open. This was probably a great hotel back in the day, but it is in decline.

Terrible! One star is 5 too many . This was absolutely the worst stay I’ve ever had at a hotel. Booked a dog friendly room and it was deplorable door didn’t shut all the way was very hard to open room smelled of marijuana the whole time .Room was filthy a/c kept shutting off then wouldn’t cool at all (had an error code on it ) it was also held together by zip ties and was very loud. hot water didn’t work nor could you turn water from tub to shower the was broken.bed had hair in it and was a very old dirty bed .bathroom was awful bulbs missing spider webs in the light fixture with missing bulb .Went to front desk to see if they could put us in a different room was told No they could Not as we had a dog & no other pet room open but I could check out early then rebook. But couldn’t be moved because we had a dog .Booked 4 nights toughed out 2 nights and couldn’t take it.No manager available to speak with and nobody could contact them for multiple days of myself calling to speak with them about this issue and Expedia trying to speak with them . Ultimately was told I’m not allowed to have any refund at all even though the hotel didn’t meet any cleaning standards and also had no resolution to the deplorable conditions . And it has taken a week for Expedia to get a response from management (very unprofessional) so don’t stay here especially with a pet because they will charge you $20 a night for the pet and put you in a room not worth $20 a night I would have rather stayed in my car

I loved the location of this Day's Inn. Absolutely stunning views surrounding this hotel from the ground level up. There is a gated viewing platform on 5th level...again, stunning views of wildlife and sunsets! The hotel rooms are very outdated, including furniture. The shower was newer, and water pressure good. Convenient to casino, fishing, and nature trails. Stayed during off season, so very quiet. Front desk clerks were very nice and accomodating.

Staff was super nice. Pier is closed. Room bathroom fan didn’t work and shower head spit water out so hard was almost like being pressure washed. Beds were hard. Ended up finding a different place to stay for the remainder of our trip.
