"Servers seemed unobservant and inattentive during breakfast and evenings in the lounge. We waited quite a bit of time for a menu, drinks and refills. Sat at the bar and the workers at the bar were great. Disappointing the boardwalk was closed. We had to change rooms the first night due to a water system issue, it sucked but things do happen. Our Room with a view of the lake was nice, the railings are starting to show their age and a glass railing would be a nice improvement."

"The space was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was lots of parking. We didn’t use the kitchenette but it looked pretty well stocked. They had a locker for our bikes which was handy. We never went to the pool so we can’t comment on that. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very basic - cereal, toast, coffee, there may have been juice but we didn’t look for it, apples. We prefer a heartier breakfast so we went to a restaurant. The only downside for us was that we had a room facing the main road and there was a lot of traffic noise even into the night. It would have probably been significantly better on the other side of the hotel. It’s a no frills, basic, hotel."

"The room wasn't as clean as it was the last time we stayed there. The outside door mat was very dirty. The air conditioning was very loud and there were only 2 bath towels in the room. I had asjed about using the pool, but was not offered any pool towels, so I thought they were in the pool area, but none there. We found the room very dark, except the bathroom light, which was great. My husband complained about a musty smell, although when we first arrived, it smelled good. The pool was clean and heated."
