This was one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect and the staff were over the top in terms of professionalism, efficiency, kindness and more. The food was absolutely outstanding and would compare favourably with some of the best restaurants in New York City, Toronto, London and Paris. Having the suites meant that we had more flexibility to do what we wanted with our extended family - and there is no price for that! The short walk to Rescue Beach gave great views and swimming (on calm days) was excellent. Lots of Sea Turtles to be seen and an easy walk to Surfers Cove for an evening of music.

The restaurant is very lovely specially at night. Those quinoa bowls were amazing. The activity with the bar tender was spectacular, we had the chance to create our own drinks. People who clean and maintain the hotel very amicable, however, Takela from front desk had always a bad attitude. In my opinion she needs to be trained again about how to deal with guests. But Diante who also worked at front desk was amazing.

The hotel is fairly new BUT it’s far away from all the highlights of Barbados…so much so that even the taxi driver from the airport could not locate it. What is saved in accommodation is doubled by the taxi fares.

Disappointing for the price. Hotel is set far back from the water. Room was sparsely decorated and no jack stand for the suitcase. Most of the rooms are on a second or third floor, but no elevators. Room and bed was comfortable. Restaurant was kind of a disaster. Breakfast food took forever to be served; no sugar substitute although "we get a lot of requests for it"???

The resort is nice but surrounded by a more rundown area. The rooms are nice but we had a lot of things broken in our room - sliding glass door wouldn’t shut or lock, fan in master bedroom wouldn’t work, couldn’t get the bathroom window to shut. Staff was nice and grounds were nice.

The Restaurant, Bar and Housekeeping Staff were awesome, super engaging and attentive, but not pushy. Room and property are clean and in great shape. The small beach about two minutes from the property was gorgeous and few other people. The water can be a bit rough and caution should be exercised with the current and rip. Not a beach for kids or weak swimmers. I have already recommended to others and plan to return

South Point Hotel was a little piece of heaven. The staff were so friendly and kind, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was clean, well maintained and provided everything we could possibly need. It's location gave us the peace and quiet we were looking for, so if you want to be at the heart of some action this won't suit you. But for us it was paradise.

We were told the room we had booked - sea view - wasn't available because of "maintenance work" being carried out so we would be "upgraded" to a two bedroom room with no sea view, When we asked to speak to the duty manager he magically found that they did have a room with sea view as we booked, but it took time and persistence
