Our stay was good. We were in room #2, Captains Quarters. The property was nicely updated and clean. We enjoyed the kitchen a lot, there was a variety of cookware and bakeware as well as utensils available to cook for a large family. However it was tight for two people to cook in the space. The site listed the room as having 2 bathrooms, this was a bit misleading as there was one full bath and one half bath. Only one shower for 7 people was a bit rough but we made it work. The bathrooms were clean but there was some mildew in the caulking. The upstairs loft contained one double bed and a small sofa bed. It was very hot and muggy upstairs when we arrived and there are no windows, and no thermostat upstairs, but fans were provided. It was cool when we were there, around 60 most days, and the loft cooled down at night, most nights. There were also no outlets by the bed in the loft. The dining room table seats 6 so if you have a large party some will have to sit at the bar, this was fine for meals but a bit more difficult when playing games as a family. The living space is quite small. There is free onsite laundry which was very helpful. The laundry area contained a ton of games and puzzles to borrow as well as extra towels, toilet paper, etc. This was very nice and made us feel welcome and at home. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the location was great, and it was a very good value for the price.

This is my favorite place to stay at in Ocean shores. They have a super easy check-in/check-out process. I’ve stayed here multiple times and it’s always clean. It is pet friendly with only a 25$ fee.

It's great! Each room that I saw has a huge wall-sized beautiful painting that fits the nature theme of the hotel. I love the system that doesn't require a check-in desk or room key. When I walked in the room there was a beautiful slideshow of natire scenes playing on the TV accompanied by beautiful music. The people who run this hotel and those who clean the rooms obviosly take pride in what they do. I'll stay here again 100%

I would definitely stay here again. Check-in is done remotely which was new to me but it was seamless and they were very responsive. Keurig coffee and real half-and-half creamer was great to have in the room. Super convenient location. Great price. Comfy beds. No complaints here. Thanks!

Everything was great except being charged more in taxes than the cost of the stay. That math doesn’t check out. The photos on the website made it look like there was a kitchen and dining area, but it was a microwave and a tiny fridge. I would normally be ok with that except I feel like we were deceived. There’s no reason for that because it’s a great location and a clean, quiet hotel. Too bad.

The owners were very responsive and accommodating. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and newly renovated. We also appreciated having access to Wi-Fi and TV streaming services in the room. This place was awesome. At first I was a little concerned because there wasn’t a traditional check in hotel option. But once inside my room I was amazed. It was so clean, comfortable and modern. In fact I was disappointed I was only going to be staying one night.
