"When we first arrived, the floor was covered in sand and crumbs. I called the office and asked if housekeeping could come the next day to sweep and mop. The person I spoke to said they would send someone, but did not apologize. Each bed had only one thin blanket, and there were no extra blankets in the unit. We were all a bit cold that first night, so we went to the office to ask for more blankets. Instead of giving me extra blankets, the women in the office bombarded me with questions and comments: “Well, did you turn on the heater? Ok, well, what size blankets do you need? People who aren't from here are always cold.” Then they told me that housekeeping would bring them when they serviced my unit. Later that day, when we returned, the floor was still not swept, and there were no extra blankets. I went back to the office, and they said that housekeeping had run out of blankets and that there were only so many to go around. They did not acknowledge that the floor was not cleaned. Upset, my husband cursed a little bit, and they told us to leave their office. We were appalled and about to pack up and leave when one came out and said, “We called the big boss, and she said that housekeeping should not have said that; they were saving blankets for some reason. I have lived here for 26 years, and I was hot last night, kicking off the blankets.” Then, the finally gave us blankets. I also didn't notice until later that I was charged an extra $150 for the second night. Slow internet."

"These are cute little cottages and we got the one with 2 queen beds. We had 2 adults and 2 children and a large dog and we had plenty of room. The staff was really nice and accommodating. I will definitely book it again."
