I had a terrible experience with the property. When I booked the hotel, the website says “parking is included”, I used google map and can not reach the hotel and had to park my car in an public area and walk 10 minutes to the hotel, it’s around 11:20 am of 6/13/2025. The lady at reception desk told me parking was not included. I asked her where to park and she told me I had to find a parking place by myself. So I payed at the parking box over the night. When I came back at 3:00 pm, a gentleman at the reception desk showed me a map and said I can drive there and park for free. The problem is the website is too confusing. The main reason I picked this hotel is parking is included. Obidos is an old town, parking is difficult. So if you drive here, you’d better find a better one.

This property is clean and simple in a great location- the middle of Obidos BE AWARE- You cannot drive right up to the hotel- must park in nearby lot & walk .2 miles on cobblestone. Also. Elevator is not working & probably hasn’t for awhile. Recommend leaving heavy bags in car & carry light overnight bag.

Loved the experience here, hotel is inside of the castle walls so the location couldn't be better! Just keep in mind you'll have to park outside the city walls and walk there with your luggage, so it's not for everyone.

A quaint traditional hotel located within the historic city walls. We stopped overbite driving from Lisbon Airport to Aveiro. Free parking in a gravel lot just a quick walk from the hotel. Hotel staff was very pleasant, offering recommendations for a late evening dinner, and welcoming to the continental style breakfast. Plenty of hot water in the shower and bed reasonably comfortable. Best part is waking in Obodos and having the town to yourself before the tour buses arrive. A very good value for the entirely reasonable rates.

O hotel era muito bem localizado, dentro das muralhas da cidade, com quarto e chuveiro bacanas, mas o estacionamento ofertado não era do hotel e era relativamente distante para quem tem malas grandes e está viajando com pessoas idosas. O elevador também não está funcionando e havia feito a escolha do hotel justamente por isso, a fim de facilitar para os meus pais que possuem dificuldade de locomoção.

Stay with breakfast was comfortable and reasonable good. Great location for vacation shopping and a little over 7 minutes walk to the free public car park. Paid parking is also around the same location as free one. Staff was friendly, I would stay again.

My husband and I spent a night in Obidos, and I wanted to to stay inside the walls of the city. The hotel is small and simple, which I was looking for. The hotel was ok for one night. Big plus, it was very clean. Personnel was not very welcoming, except for the breakfast lady, we had the place only for us. Location was definetly the best feature of this hotel.

Empezaré por lo peor. Me parece una falta de vergüenza que sigan anunciando que tiene ascensor cuando está claro que lleva estropeado mucho tiempo y hay que subir por una escalera estrecha. Tampoco es normal anunciar aire acondicionado cuando lo que hay en las habitaciones es una máquina climatizadora, que no es lo mismo. El hotel necesita una renovación de los baños (ducha atascada, cisterna que dejó de funcionar) Lo de parking en las inmediaciones requiere un comentario: hay hoteles en donde se puede aparcar muy cerca en la calle, pero no es el caso. Lo de situación céntrica es totalmente cierto, pero esto es una dudosa ventaja cuando hay que dejar el coche a 500 m. del hotel (ojo, no entrar en el centro por nada del mundo, ya que en las calles por las que se puede circular son estrechas y laberínticas y otras son peatonales; el GPS mandará por sitios equivocados o prohibidos) El hotel es caro para su nivel y debe de basar su precio precisamente por su situación céntrica, que tiene el problema de que durante el día pasan cientos de turistas por esa calle con el consiguiente ruido. Lo mejor, el personal, que ayuda en lo que puede y pone buena voluntad, pero el dueño debería replantearse muchas cosas, comenzando por el precio y hacer una descripción menos engañosa de la realidad.

Last minute booking in Obidos - a quaint walled town. Pleased to have been able to stay within the walls and miss most tourists at the end and beginning of the day. Walked the walls, had great views. Charming atmosphere. Had to park out of the town, but still very convenient and easier like that. Guillermo (?spelling) at reception was very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend
