This hotel is in a slightly more upscale part of town compared to the Centro. The room with the street view gets some traffic noise in the morning, but not too much. Service was excellent!

Great hotel

We loved the hotel. Rooms are a good size, although ours lacked a window. Staff were very helpful and the property felt safe as the front door was often closed with the staff on hand at reception to open it. Breakfast was good too and in perfect spot right in the middle of downtown to explore Oaxaca.

Sauvé was located only 2 blocks away from Templo Santo Domingo. Also a few blocks away from the zocalo. So it’s near everything from local shops and restaurants. Our room was clean, the rain shower was great. It was quiet since our room was facing the courtyard. The staff were very helpful with checking in, our luggage, and booking the taxis to go to the airport.

Stylish and convenient boutique hotel in Oaxaca

Excellent location and newly renovated clean boutique hotel in the heart of the old city Oaxaca. A little noisy at night due to openness to the inner courtyard... three of the four nights stay had music until 1:00am.... That's why they supply "Ear plugs" beside your bed.

Magnificent property! We fell in love with Oaxaca, we’ll be returning for sure and will be staying here for sure! The property is centrally located 5-15 min walking distance from all the historic center spots to visit. Amazing restaurants all around also within steps. The staff was amazing and super attentive, we wanted to visit Tule and a couple of other spots, and rather than getting us a tour with a ton of other people they were able to get us a private tour with guide. The decor is beautiful and modern, but beautifully kept the integrity of the historic architecture and design of the building.

The employees were very attentive and friendly. I asked about the processions for Holy Week, and the clerk texted me the route. As others noted, there was some noise, but that is to be expected being right in the middle of all of city’s attractions and activities.

This is a lovely hotel in a very convenient place very close to the main square and beautiful churches like the Dominican church just a short walk away. I was greeted by a very friendly member of staff on reception. Every member of staff was friendly and very helpful. Always greeted by a pleasant smile. The room was large and on the ground floor and a window (with shutters) and a nice view onto the sunny street outside. Breakfast was good and I just had to step out my bedroom door to one of the tables in an enclosed courtyard that was sunny as the roof was glass. I had a fantastic stay in a very beautiful hotel with friendly, helpful staff in a very colonial looking historic part of town. I would definitely come back to this hotel.
