This property is in a very good location to explore Oaxaca on foot. I chose the least expensive room and though it was small it provided a comfortable bed, good air conditioning and very good housekeeping. The office staff were helpful and pleasant. The restaurant was fairly good. There is a very good coffee and pastry shop on the corner, Tierra del Sol. This hotel is a good deal for the money. The only real negative I have is when departing the employee on the door was quite upset he had to get up from bed to let me out the front door so I could catch my flight.

Had a great one night stay. Staff super friendly and helpful. Centrally located especially now during the Guelaguetza festivities. Everything was a short walk and located near highly rated places. The room itself was small, but had everything I needed minus a refrigerator. Like most of Mexico the AC only lowers to a certain level so it will never be freezing cold but it was perfect enough for my preference. Staff allowed me to keep my luggage in their office after my checkout for a few hours before I left to my next destination. I would definitely return.

Nice hotel located in the center of town. Very nice location, walkable to everything. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. There is a nice restaurant serving breakfast, lunch & dinner plus happy hour. The only downside was our room was on the main floor right outside the restaurant, so it was loud until about 10-10:30 then again in the morning when they set up breakfast. I would just recommend requesting a room on the second floor. We would stay here again.

Lovely hotel. Walking distance to tons of good restaurants, and the room was nicely done. The staff were very helpful; organised laundry service and booked a taxi to the airport. There is some noise from the onsite restaurant but it was worth it to have this conveniently close as the food was great (amazing shrimp!)

Wonderful stay at Hotel Casa Vertical! The service was excellent, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, and everything was spotless. Beautiful hotel with restaurant in the lobby area. You get coffee and pastries included if you come down for breakfast. Ac in units was great! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They helped print our return flight tickets because Oaxaca airport won’t take digital. House keeping was on top of room cleaning everyday. Not to mention the location is phenomenal!
