"Terrific little boho b&b in a great neighborhood. Conveniently walkable to the Zócalo and restaurants in El Centro. There are several shared dormitories as well as very comfortable single rooms with private bath. Some of the private rooms have terraces. Staff is super friendly and dedicated to their guests having a pleasant stay. Breakfast is included. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"Bed was okay and food was really good. Everything was very clean. Only problem was there was a party that ended at 3am on our first night and we couldn’t sleep, even though the rules said to be quiet after 10:30pm. "

"I cannot recommend Ginger Banana enough! The hostel is nice and centrally located. The space is calm, clean, and cute.The space was great, but the best part of Ginger Banana was the people! The staff seriously went above and beyond to help me navigate the city/find tours and make me feel welcome. They helped me feel comfortable and taken care of as a solo traveler. If you’re looking to visit Oaxaca City, definitely stay here."

"This hotel was great. Staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Excellent breakfast, beautiful views. The entire vibe is relaxing and wonderful. I must say from the time you check in with the friendly receptionist girls, to the time you check out, is just a really pleasant experience. I will definitely stay here next time I visit Oaxaca. "
