Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge
8/10 Good
"The check in process was easy, very nice staff. Upgraded our room so we wouldn’t he next to the elevator - very sweet girl that helped us.
My only complaint was nowhere did I see on the site when booking that there is an additional $30 fee to park in the hotel parking lot."
"The hotel is very close to Amtrak station. The hotel is close to bus stops and a lot of shops. The hotel is old, but it is clean. The people works at front desk did look friendly. They never greeted when customers passed by. The breakfast was good, there were many choices. For some reason, the pool was closed."
"Not to sound picky but the sink didn’t drain well, the shower faucet needed repaired, the screen door was off the track, the wi-fi was weak at times, and the tv would cut out and not work.
Other than that the place is Great!"
"The hotel is not the newest.. that being said the front desk staff were knowledgeable friendly, and thoughtful. The housekeeping staff obviously take pride in their work. The room was spotless with little fancy touches you find in 5 star hotels. The bed was really comfortable. The shuttle service is Lyft so the will take you exactly when and where you want to go and it's covered by the hotel. I wouldn't go there for a holiday but as a stay for the airport, totally recommend!"
"I enjoyed my stay but for the breakfast and the carpet in my room.
The sausage that was prepared was not pork and there was no alternative available (i.e. pork sausage, bacon or ham). I was not particularly fond of the eggs either as there was a slight sweetness, which may have been sugar. The Belgian waffle was good and there are a variety of other cold breakfast items to choose from.
The carpet in my room looked dirty. I did not feel comfortable walking on it with my bare feet. I wore my socks when walking around the room and when I looked at the bottom of them they were not dirty. So it was just a matter of the carpet being dingy which was unappealing."
