Cosy home from home

Beautiful property, larger than expected. We particularly enjoyed the cosy seating area and the home-made bread. Fiona was very friendly and recommended the local pub for food - it was a great place to eat.

Nice play to stay near Oakham & Rutland water - clean and full of character with plenty of space. The area around is good for walks and further out Ruttland water is the main local attraction while Oakham is a lovely market town only a couple of miles away. The cottage is located very close to the local pub which serves great food

Fantastic

We had a wonderful two nights at Gable Cottage. The cottage was lovely and clean, and nice and cool despite it being quite a warm day. Fiona was in touch with additional details ahead of our stay and was ready to welcome us on arrival. We visited the local pub in the village which was lovely.
