「The parking is terrible. Please be advised that if your travel from afar you can only have one vehicle!! Family can't come visit because there is no where to park! If I would have known before hand, I would have choose a different hotel!! Most of the parking is the beach parking. Which is $20 + tax only until 11! Would not advise staying here, especially if you want to explore Daytona. 」

「We only stayed a couple days but it was super comfortable and clean. Love that we had efficiency rooms to do a bit of cooking. This place allows smoking on grounds but not in rooms. Being a smoker, I appreciated that but I also appreciated how respectful all the smokers were, including myself. Lots of receptacles available and they are kept clean and organized. It IS possible to be a respectful and clean smoker. Pool area is gorgeous and this place is right on the beach! We really had a nice...

「We have been coming to The Shores for a few years now. Our experience has always been a pleasant and relaxing time. Unfortunately this year many people don't choose to follow simple rules. Several people decided to smoke around the resort. Other people decided to bring their dogs to the pool! We will definitely go back but hope other patrons will be more considerate of others.」

「Staff was amazing, it was really clean, the pool area was great and it’s right off the ocean!! It is definitely ran down; but if you are in Florida and that close to the ocean you are just sleeping in your room anyways and clean is what matters and that it was!!!」

「The staff were all so friendly and helpful! Even when other guests were being nasty to them. My husband and I went by ourselves but I really want to go back with my kiddos! The pools were gorgeous and the beach access was perfection! Not the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in, but Clorox wipes solved that problem.」

「Easy to find. Easy check in and pleasant staff. Our TV didn't work and with 5-10 minutes we had a brand new TV out of the packaging. Location to the beach is great. The pool is not accessible but the beach is steps away. Definitely going back.」

「This hotel has a great location. The oceanview was amazing. Every staff person we interacted with from front desk, to housekeeping, to the sweet lady stocking breakfast was friendly. It is a bit run down though with beds being a bit worn, walls need painting, and some furniture looks rough. We had 3 rooms, all were much more dated than the online photo. Like most places on the strip, they are in a constant state of hurricane reno. But it was clean and everything worked. 」
