"The Alt at Halifax airport was perfect for our overnight stay before flying home the following day. It can't be beat for convenience - you walk out the door of the hotel into the terminal. Our room was spacious and clean. We were not disturbed by airplane noise. The gym had sufficient equipment. The hotel restaurant was great for dinner and breakfast."

"Rooms were large, clean and quiet. The restaurant downstairs was really convenient. The room definitely needed updating ie paint, wall paper peeling off. Staff was not helpful when I called to let them know our flight was late getting in. Claimed they couldn’t keep our room past 1 am as we would be no shows. I had to make 3 long distance calls in order to finally speak to a manager and even then she said 1 am also, despite the fact that we were paying for the room. I had to get angry and finally said okay we will keep until 4 am but if not there we would call it a no show."

"The building is dated, but overall we found it homey. Breakfast could have been warmer. Our room was a nice size, not crowded, we didn't use the coffee maker as there was coffee available in the front lobby and with breakfast. There wasn't a great amount of parking. But we did get lucky and won a little on their slot machines!"

"Free parking and wifi. Our booking included free continental breakfast. Pool and hot tub is available for guests. Pool area has towels for use. Walking distance to Dartmouth Crossing shopping centre. Convenient location for lots of restaurant options. Walking distance to Shubie Park. Room is spacious and bed is comfortable. Will definitely stay there again."

"We spent one night here at this beautiful location. We enjoyed the hot tub and lovely lake front property. The room was quiet (although this could be different if the additional guests were noisier; we did hear conversations in the morning). The room and common areas were very clean. The communal kitchen and living room were well appointed. Self serve breakfast with numerous choices. Bed and bed linens were very comfy. Close to Martinique Beach at the end of the peninsula where we saw a beautiful sunset. This is a self check-in location and we appreciated that convenience. Staff was available if needed but everything was clearly outlined in our handbook and messages prior to check-in. We would stay here again if we were in the area."

"This facility is lovely, if a little pricey. It is ideal for a relaxing getaway or special occasion. The view of the lake is great and provides an ideal backdrop. The dome is spacious and has everything you need. A little more countertop and food prep area would have improved the experience. There is a nice bbq on the deck but unfortunately no table so you have to eat inside, which I found sad as it would have been nice to watch the boats on the lake whilst eating dinner. There is a good walking trail right next door to work up an appetite. Overall a pleasant experience for our first time staying in a dome."
