Excellent stay

I was upgraded to the suit, very nice room with comfortable temperature and space. Renovated bathroom and nice bed. Very good breakfast and nice staff!! The location is great with lots of pubs and restaurants in the area. I really recommend this hotel.

This property was amazing! We had a very nice room and the location by the castle was perfect! The hotel is next to the castle walls and about three or four blocks from the castle entrance. For breakfast they served bacon, sausage, eggs, yogurt, fruit, sweet pastries, etc. We were very satisfied. The historic restaurant about one block away served excellent traditional German food. We really enjoyed our stay!

Highly recommend this place! Perfect in the heart of so much to see and do. I was glad they had a mini fridge with cokes. Beer would have been nice as well! Their breakfast was incredibly delicious! So much to choose from!!

The Durer hotel is in a very good location with bars and restaurants everywhere. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff are always trying to please. I can't say anything negative about this hotel. The staff if just amazing! I will never stay in another hotel.

Great find

The hotel was perfect for accommodating our family of 4, with a comfortable bed for each of us. I loved the convenience of a split toilet from the shower both rooms with a sink. The balcony was a great surprise and we were able to enjoy a warm evening after walking the town. The hotel was located near a few bars & cafes that were still active until midnight, then promptly shut down. The free breakfast was extensive with everything I expected a German breakfast could include in addition to American options for my kids. To top off breakfast, champagne was included!! The big bonus was a parking space that came with the room adding to the convenience of this wonderful hotel. Lastly I have to mention the night time desk clerk that checked us in, made sure we had everything we needed and offered suggestions to some of our other needs. Get stay, so happy we booked it. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I booked here because I stayed in 2003 and had very fond memories. It really has not changed much in that time. I did have one of the best views on the top floor last time and this time an obstructed 3rd floor view. Maybe the view last time was so amazing that I forgot any other issues. Where I think things went wrong this time is that the building is showing the age of its current decor and finishes. Additionally, the staff really treated us poorly. We asked if there was any bandages and she did not understand so we tried to show her a picture of a bandaid with our phone and she just started with another customer even though it was our turn in line. Super rude and weird that she just asked us to move aside. Is was just 10 seconds of interaction before that.
