I had an enjoyable stay.
A very well located hotel, within the city walls and close to metro U1 and train station.
The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped.
The breakfast options are comprehensive and delicious.
All of the hotel staff were helpful and made a welcoming stay.
There is no difficulty in recommending this hotel.
Fantastic location, we were able to walk to all the sites in old town including the castle. It is also a quick walk to the train station. Tons of old world charm!

A simple room in excellent lication
The location of he hotel is excellent.
The room is small and dies not have a/c.
Breakfast is nice.
People are very nice and friendly
This hotel is a distinguished establishment in every way. The staff are most welcoming and helpful and the breakfast is stellar!
Air conditioning will make the rooms even more comfortable and we understand this is to be installed soon.
Pretty old hotel with a lot of character. The room was clean and spacious with good water pressure. Only downside was the small room fan didn't offer a lot of comfort for the summer heat. Hotel is in a great location close to the main train station and downtown Nuremberg.
Great hotel. If you want a new, soulless, modern hotel do NOT come here. However, if you want an historic, old-fashioned hotel with character (and that looks like a small castle) definitely do come here. The building interior is quite beautiful and some of the rooms have amazing views of the plaza below. Very rustic, old world experience. I highly recommend! (N.B. There is no air-conditioning and the hot water takes a while to heat up in the shower. But it was a great experience overall.)

Beautiful room
Great Location
In my opinion they should focus on improving the look of the rooms hallway, the carpet looks dirty and old and there was a water leak from the shower. Please fix it before renting the room.
No an ideal location during the summer time because there is no air conditioning.
This is a gem of a hotel- historic but brought up to date beautifully.
The location is superb, close to all of the sights and good shopping.
The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room (we were upgraded to a suite) was delightful with a small seating area and a huge bathroom. It took a while for the hot water to come through but it's an old house !! The room at night was very warm but there was a fan and you could not expect air conditioning- again, its an old house!
The TV was disappointing but you are on holiday so who wants to sit in a hotel room when there is a fabulous town to explore.
Breakfast was excellent - so much choice, cold meats, hot options, breads, cereals, fruits - the list goes on and on.
Lovely place to stay and thank you for the upgrade!
The hotel was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a perfect location for us - close to the station and Nuremberg centre. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Absolutely beautiful old building in the walking district of Nuremberg! The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, and the owner is helpful and accomodating. Loved it and will return!
NOT AS ADVERTISED. AVOID. Despite all the booking sites saying it has parking and accepting bookings from them, this is false. The hotel is rather shabby, not in the best location, and there is some weirdness with the elevator. There are superior options.
