「The property is an historical building decorated in a sympathetic way. The grounds were lovely and you could sit out if you wanted to. The bedroom was large but the over bath shower was a bit tricky and needed a hand rail to safely get in and out. Breakfast was simple, croissants, bread, jam and a few bits of cheese. 」

「After a long day of travelling, we made a last-minute decision to add one more overnight stop before heading home from the Eurotunnel — and we’re so glad we did. What a gem! This charming small hotel is beautifully peaceful, with just a few rooms, and everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. 「Staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a budget place to stay, but was great for the price. Breakfast seemed better than in other similar Ibis hotels. We may well stay here again as a stopping point after the tunnel when driving to our place in France.」

「Staff were very helpful - we arrived late and the person on reception kept the entrance unlocked until we arrived, answered all our queries and was very friendly and helpful. Room was sparce but very spacious.」

「Really nice chateau with great facilities, staff and good food in the bar」

「Perfect stop before taking the channel or ferry. The pool is a good size and it also has access to sauna and steam so a nice way to relax after a long drive. The bar has a pool table and table football which was nice for us all to relax and play with the kids. It’s next to a big carrefour so handy for a shop before crossing. 」
