“Did what it said on the tin”- good value, close to city and with pool. Great staff, excellent breakfast and a real draw- easy and free parking. Great as a base for a visit to Noto. If you want character and old Sicily- not for you but overall very good as a base

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Big rooms. Very Clean Dated decor that could benefit with a refurbishment. Overall no complaints. Had to get taxis in Notto.

Visited Noto once again and returned to the Sofia (tried a B&B last year but not a great experience) so back to the Sofia and as always the all the staff are friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend staying here - The rooms are clean and comfortable - however it would be nice to have Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which I thought was standard for the 4* hotel. It is on the outskirts of Noto but the centre is 5 minute in the car. I will be back again

Everyone was really kind whit us. The hotel is really big and modern. The breakfast is also good and nice swimming pool.

A large property just outside of central Noto, but walkable. Huge and easily accessible parking lot was appreciated. Breakfast service could use one more coffee machine- line got long at times. Access to pool is a bit of a walk and getting around inside of this huge property can be confusing but overall, a nice stay.

Disappointing!!!!

The hotel itself was modern and spacious and the staff were friendly enough but a judo convention of young kids spoilt our stay. That and watching another couple of guests being allowed to sit their dog at the breakfast table on a chair while they feed it ham from the buffet breakfast spoilt the stay.

Just Ok as needs some improvements

The Staff are lovely, but the hotel is slipping and in need of some work (Shower did not function properly, cracks in wall ) the quality of the breakfast has also slipped only one type of yogurt Pineapple but after the 6th or 7th request from guests they actually found a couple of other flavours. To begin with the waiters did not have masks on then suddenly they all put them on which was quite disconcerting. I have stayed here nearly every year for the last 10 years so its a little sad to see the decline in quality

Badezimmer ohne Dusche, nur eine schmale Badewanne mit Brauseschlauch ohne Abtrennung. Zimmer auf die Haupteinfahrtsstrasse nach Noto hinaus und sehr laut! Der Poolbereich ungepflegt und sanierungsbedürftig: überall Zigarettenstummel, unzählige zum Teil zertretene Oliven, kaputte lose Steinplatten, zerbrochene Bodenstrahler, ausgerissene Bodensteckdosen… Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit reichhaltiger Auswahl, Parkplatz reichlich vorhanden Ins historische Zentrum zu Fuß 1,5km (eher mühsam), aber es gibt einen guten zentralen Parkplatz! Insgesamt empfehlenswert

Bon hotel à 15 minutes de centre de Noto

Nous avons été très bien accueilli; nous avons demandé de nous réserver une table au restaurant de l’hôtel; c’était bruyant car un bus de voyage organisé dînait en même temps mais le repas etait très bon! Le petit déjeuner était copieux: toutes les saveurs de la Sicile étaient présentes. Merci au personnel de restaurant et de chambre pour le service impeccable.

Nous avons passé une nuit. Très calme et le personnel très agréable. Le restaurant est plutôt haut de gamme et ne conviendrais pas forcément pour un séjour en famille. La machine à café est également déficiente pour les petits déjeuners. Mais pour une simple nuit, tout s'est très bien passé.
