For the bargain price we paid (I think £57) we could not fault this hotel. Free parking and only a 17 min walk to a gig we'd booked at The Picturedrome.
Comfy bed, adequate shower, lots of tea/coffee, warm.
Nice breakfast, parking is a tight for the number of rooms but ok if you arrive for a early check in.Speaking of the check in it states a time 12 noon but this is not correct,we arrived at 1pm only to be told that is to early but our room was ready so no problem for us and able to park ok.

Check-in and parking awful. Limited hours to check-in no-one available mid evening. Car park locked when I arrived and double yellow lines outside. Bed comfortable, breakfast was good and freshly cooked.

Had a good night stay, however, the hotel is very dated and could do with a refurb. There is a car park behind the hotel but directions could be better. I had read previous reviews do we were looking out for it! Staff were nice and breakfast was good!
It’s a 20 min walk from the hotel to the town centre or maybe about 5 min taxi - we walked and it didn’t seem that long!

2 star, old building but comfy bed, hot water & helpful staff when they had no record of my booking from Expedia on arrival after a 240 mile drive
. A room was found after I left the paperwork I had copied .
Clean and tidy, if a little old fashioned. Good breakfast, would definately use again because of the competitive price.

Disliked: Amenities
Awful bed, so uncomfortable. Paper thin walls so I could hear the guy in the next room snoring. Barely a trickle of water from the shower. Breakfast was frankly terrible, somehow the chef managed to give me a fried egg with no yolk in it, to accompany the vile bacon, sausages and cold baked beans. I ended up leving 3/4 of the breakfast as it was so bad. I know this is a budget hotel but there is a limit. I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel!!

For the price point and for somewhere to lay your head it’s perfect. Better than a travelodge
All in all this was a very fair deal. The hotel room was cramped not because it was particularly small but because so much was offered: a large wardrobe, chest of drawers, table, 2 chairs plus the bed, of course and a large TV, ironing board and iron, fridge, hair-dryer, kettle! The alleyway to the car park is very pot-holed and the car park is locked when it's full, which it was when I arrived back at 11pm. I had to re-negotiate the pot-holed route and find an alternative (not too difficult in adjacent streets. Very pleasant staff but it all feels a bit old-fashioned and drab. All the same, a lot more is provided than in the larger-roomed town centre rooms, including biscuits!

EXCELLENT SERVICE
VERY BASIC HOTEL, BUT, SERVICE AND BREAKFAST WERE OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY
We have visited a lot of hotels but have never had the service that we received at the Langham hotel. The owners couldn't do enough to help they were friendly and cheerful and, the breakfast was served up hot and fresh every morning. We would certainly go back back again if we are ever in Northampton.
Fantastic location, 10 minute walk from the town centre with parking facilities behind the hotel.
Room was comfortable and cleaned daily.
Plenty of choice from the breakfast menu and the owners very friendly and accommodating.
If staying over in Northampton I would very much recommend them.
