「This was a return visit as we loved the friendly staff and locals.
Special treat for our Irish Wolfhound because my wife was on antibiotics so timing meant she couldn't have her breakfast... so guess who got it instead. Very happy dog though I think the chef felt his skills were not being tested given she likes her eggs raw.
So yes they are very dog friendly, and the food for us humans was excellent as well.」

「Wonderful hotel, cant recommend highly enough. Great location on the south west coast path.
They offer a packed lunch for the next day which is definitely needed for the walk from Hartland way to Bude! 」

「We had previously eaten at this hotel and were so impressed that we decided pay another visit and stay the night. We were not disappointed. The room was excellent. Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. We'll be back! 」
