"I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it felt much closer to a 3-star experience than the advertised 4 stars. For a property charging over $250 per night, the overall value and quality were disappointing. One major issue was the TV entertainment. There were virtually no channels available , not even basic local channels. The only option was to log into Netflix or other streaming services using your personal account, which can be difficult or impossible for international travelers due to regional restrictions and login verification requirements. The restaurant was another letdown. The menu was very limited, and the food prices were extremely high for the quality and selection offered. What made it more frustrating was the hotel’s policy against bringing outside food onto the property, although I noticed other guests eating Jollibee and other takeout food by the pool without any issue. The rules seemed inconsistent. The room amenities also did not meet expectations for a hotel in this price range. There were no bathrobes provided in the room, and when I requested robes, the hotel delivered child-sized ones that clearly did not fit an adult guest. Perhaps the most concerning issue was the water smell. The first time the faucet or shower was turned on, there was a strong sewage-like odor coming from the water, which was very unpleasant. Overall, this hotel charges luxury-level prices but fails to deliver a comfortable or polished experience. Very disappointing 😟"

"I had a flight cancellation that affected my stay at this property. Expedia contacted the property and ask them if they could modify my dates for future visit they declined.. "

"Great location far enough from all the traffic but can easily get places in 10-15 minutes. Staff are very nice. The only issue I had was the whole room transfer and not being told upfront that we will need to transfer the next day. I booked 2 family rooms and did an early paid for early check in on arrival for one room and they put us on adjoining room since they only have one available because of the the 3 other family room they have had was under construction. I was not told that I have to transfer to standard room the next day. The towels can use some upgrade though"

"The bathroom needs update, shower have very low pressure. The bed sheets were dusty and had scent of the previous people/person that stayed in our room. Our family end up getting sick with cough, feber and runny nose dur to too much dust. The staff were great and friendly. The food was nice, many options and taste great. It’s amazing how you have access to the pool and swimming pool. Also have overpriced tourist guide…"

"Microtel Baguio is one of the better hotel in the area. I stayed for 17 days in Microtel Baguio because of the location. It's a walking distance to SM Baguio. Amenities are better comparing to some hotels close by session road. The bed is very comfortable and they clean the room every day. The staffs are attentive and very approachable. Negative: you can hear noise from outside especially early morning like 2:30am , the whistle from the bus hub. I recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thanks."

"Hot shower is not working. Only the very cold shower. When you turn the handle to the left to get hot shower, the water in the shower heads was only dripping and no water pressure. No phones in the room. Had to go down every time to ask for assistance. I had to ask 3 times in one day just for someone to fix the issue and when someone finally came, they COULD NOT FIX IT!!! Quite disappointing "
