"The best way to describe this establishment is IF A SPEED TRAP WAS A MOTEL. This is a very suspect business, demanding deposits only in cash and having multiple gotcha-type policies where they can scam you out of your deposit. When is the last time you were required to pay a cash deposit and had your credit card photocopied front and back and "kept on file." Believe me I'm going to be watching my account VERY closely over the next few months. And there is only one checkout time where you can get your cash deposit back. You are ONLY allowed to check out at 9am or they will try and keep your deposit from you. I talked to the lobby attendant ahead of time that I was leaving very early in the morning to catch a flight and he lied to me and told me he would leave a note for the overnight guy to refund my deposit. Of course the overnight guy said "I don't give back deposits. You have to be here at 9am to get your deposit back." When's the last time a hotel TOLD YOU when you had to checkout?! There is no way all of these 10/10 amazing reviews are real. This place is very shady and seedy at best. When I pointed out their unscrupulous business practices, the owner cussed me out, called me the B word multiple times, dropped multiple F-bombs, and told me to never F-ing come back. I never used vulgarity directed at him. He's a very unhappy man. If you've read his responses to critical reviews, you'll know what to expect here."

"The room was clean but it needed some TLC. The toilet paper holder was broke and. You really couldn't use the outlets due to the counter being too high. You could tell that the fixes they had done were gerryrigged. "

"1st time we went on 1/21/26 we had no light on the desk area. I really needed one. Our visit yesterday 3/08/26 the TV didnt work, they thought since they got it on it worked but there were only 2 channels and they were not anything we'd wanted to watch, like the news. Besides that the place is clean, and closd to interstate and near hospital where we had to go. "

"The property was poorly maintained. I wouldn’t have stayed there if I knew what I know now. The tub was peeling the pull out couch was stained and it stunk. If it wasn’t a resting area for a long drive I would’ve left. The hotel clerk was rude and had an attitude as if I was bothering him. Oh and top it off the towels were dirty and old looking."
