Staff were very friendly, and breakfast choices were excellent. The two rooms we had had an excellent view of the lake. Just be aware that there is no elevator, and parking is what is available on the street. We were there during the peak fall colours, and were able to find parking spots not far from the entrance.
This hotel is really a wonderful place for family events held close by. The rooms are very spacious, king bed really comfortable, rooms well maintained. The breakfast is really great. A variety of items are provided for breakfast and included in the overall price. There are other options available for an extra fee.
Overall, we loved staying at this hotel.
We really liked our room and the fact that it had a small fridge and a seating area. We had a king bed and it was very comfortable. The breakfasts which are included were so good, with various choices. The staff only come into your room unless you request them to which we appreciated as we did not have to keep picking everything up, lol. The location is excellent as you can walk to different sights and restaurants.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Breakfast was good, bed comfortable, reasonably friendly hosts.
The room was spotless! I went with a good friend and we had 2 queen beds which were very comfortable and had extra pillows, which we appreciated.
We also enjoyed the breakfast choices and that our stay included breakfast. I would definitely go back again and I do recommend this wonderful B and B!
We had a wonderful stay at Auberge Le Chocolatier! The very first thing we noticed was how impeccably clean the rooms were. The beds and sheets were very comfortable, making for a truly restful night’s sleep.
Having the café right downstairs was a huge plus—grabbing a fresh coffee and treat in the morning couldn't have been more convenient. Combined with its fantastic location in North Hatley (EV charger right across the street), it made for a seamless and relaxing trip. Highly recommended!
Right in the heart of town, super convenient. Great breakfasts. The soap, shampoo and conditioner were low-end motel quality so we had to purchase some for our 4 night stay. We left a tip for the maid, they also added $7 per day tip for breakfast, and then when paying the final bill there was a screen to add 18% or higher to the total by way of extra tip. Never saw that before, not a fan. Anyhow, comfortable bed, friendly staff.

North Hatley is a beautiful place, calm and sourounded by nature. The restaurant across the way, The Pilsen, is great and I would strongly recommend it.
Our stay at the Auberge was ok, the room was exactly like the pictures, amenities as promised. Some parts need a bit of care, like the carpets on the stairs, but overall no complaints. The breakfast was good.
My only recommendation: don't bother writing to the property because I don't think anyone reads it.
The place is good quality for the price, but the staff is so rude! I dealt with 3 different people and all were not nice. They seemed unhappy i had made my reservation on Expedia instead of calling them directly? And then they seemed upset that i wanted to pay by credit card instead of debit, refering an email i was supposed to have received but i never got. Anyways. So yeah, clean and safe-ish (lock for our room was a tiny bathroom like lock, with no safe in the room), for the price you pay it’s totally fair. But if you want luxury and helpful staff that’s not the place for you.
Good people, very personable and accommodating and the location was perfect. I was a one day/night excursion into that part of Quebec and the overall experience was memorable
Great little place in excellent location and easy to walk around the village. Very friendly and kind staff managed by a lovely family. Rooms very clean breakfast was amazing!!
It was a great stay, breakfast included was generous and really appreciated . A family owned business where you can tell they are there for the right reasons.
