Great place very cozy. However the only thing i didnt like was that it was difficult for my husband who is handicap. When we arrived it was very icy i contacted the property and they came and put salt. However the next day it snowed and it was difficult to walk to the car it was all snow and no real path for my husband to get to walk to the car that was parked on a hill.

Wasn't able to check in as no staff on site and had not had any info about check in process as the initial booking has said we would, I called the number online and on initial booking email to no answer when we arrived. Was told by Expedia that the hotel had supposedly tried to call me the day before with a request for ID but had no missed calls or voicemail messages, they hadn't attempted to contact via email or Expedia message either so had to book elsewhere on the day and wasn't offered any compensation for the extra costs or hassle incurred.

Parking was right up against cottage, very convenient Was worried a bit about owner communicating the code on time due to a bad review but had absolutely no problems, owner was entirely on time and responsive Room was cozy, clean and had everything we needed Door knobs and toilet wiggly, could use an update But overall, i had a wonderful experience. Was pleasantly surprised by the huge tub in the room. Room was very cozy. Bed was comfortable. The propane stove was very cozy and warm. Would definitely stay again. My biggest thing is I like it dark in my room. And it was hard to shut the shades to get it dark. But that’s just a me issue.

There was NO HEAT in the cabin! We contacted the phone number, Emil AND WALKED TO THE MAIN LODGE and received no support. Sadly, we were not the only cabin that had that challenge. What was interesting is that the property management team exhausted text and email multiple times to get a picture or my identification yet when I leveraged the same modalities of communication, they did not answer and have yet to respond. We woke up to a cabin that was 51 degrees inside which is completely UNACCEPTABLE!!! 0 stars do not recommend. My husband and I were cold we didn’t even shower, we woke up and rolled our. Sleeping in our rental car would’ve been a better option because we at least would’ve had heat!

Communication was outstanding. Overall cabin was clean and cozy. But cabin was old and needed updating. Lamp sockets exposed in bathroom (no bulbs) and bedroom lamp broken (bulb just hanging by the wire). Please update it is unsafe. Thank you for your understanding, it is great appreciated.

The bathroom can’t be legal.

This is a strange property with no on site staff. The idea of the cottage was more appealing than the reality. I will say the room was large and comfortable and clean, and had been updated with some modern fixtures. But the thermostat controls a gas stove which we didn’t realize. The pilot light had gone out, but we thought the furnace wouldn’t work. We texted and emailed and got no answers. We eventually called and they did come out late to fix it which was good, but why didn’t they respond hours earlier? The real negative was the bathroom which should be condemned. The floor was squishy from obvious water damage under the linoleum. The toilet was not fully attached to the floor so it rocked. And the shower was tiny and wouldn’t turn all the way off so it dripping nonstop. I’d stay elsewhere.

The bed to the right of the entrance needs a new boxspring. We didn’t realize there was an issue until 11pm when we went to bed. Definitely needs to be looked in. Hot water was sparingly but overall great visit
