「It was our first visit to Nelson Bay, nature is fascinating, lots of activities around to get engaged in, shopping is near by which was great. The only constructive feedback that I would like to share is that property needs renovations, not decently cleaned when we received the key. 」

Thanks to Alison for her great hospitality by phone as well as in person, also her tour in the morning about the Sanctuary. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wish to support their work as well as to enjoy a bit of relax atmosphere in Port Stephens.」

「Easy to find, clean and close to the beach」

「Since this hotel is my middle point drive from Brisbane to Sydney, so we check in very late, after 9pm. Hotel sent me the message teach me how to take key and parking car before I tell them I will come late. That is thoughtful. I felt sick in next morning, that is the check out time at 10am. I called the staff immediately. The staff is very nice allow us to late check out at 11:30am. Thanks for their help. 」

「Unique hotel, not to mention the beautiful lagoon pool. Good to have Microwave oven and cutlery provided. The single bed is standard single, not king single. Hope cleaner did a better job with attention to details. Somewhere dusty.」

「When I made the booking, it is a two bedrooms room. However, the design of this room is strange. It has one big door and has two doors on left and right. It just like a two separate rooms. My kids are small and cannot accept this room type. However, I get upgrade for my room type and live in a house that is great.
